  • Hi Guys, apologies if this topic has already been brought up. I got one a few days ago for my birthday and it didn't come with a license or anything like that in the box, just a manual, usb lead, 2 cd rom's and the actual CI2. I have written to steinberg but I'm wondering if I might be missing something! Any help would be appreciated.

  • Kevingp12 It does crackle and pop but I have figured out how to prevent that issue ,So every time you record and mess up the take and rerecord. all files are backed up in a .BAK folder, it keeps backing up every take every time you delete or remove a take over and over so after a while of doing this the clutter starts taking its toll by popping on the DAW side but not the CI2 plus, so find the BAK files for that project and delete them you'll see the popping and latency noise will be stopped

  • what is the last price?

  • lol , funny how he uses a piano pedal for the switch pedal lol!

  • Its so funny when i watch these vid and the ci2 and software work flawless,but....when i go and buy the unit it work like crap as an audio interface, the ai is great but try and compose a track with all those clicks & pops you get in your home studio.HA,i think STIENBERG pulled a fast one on the consumer. Not at all Happy with the product,i mainly bought this product for the high quality ins/outs and got a shity usb controler man that suck !

  • msp5's yay!!

  • Does this only work with the included Cubase AI5 ? because I have Cubase 5 in full all ready and I cant seem to get the Ci2 to comminicate with it!

    any help ?

  • @carter0012 im actually using an steinberg ci2 with a cracked cubase 5 and it works perfecttly dude.... by the way cubase ai super super SUCKS just a waste of time..

  • @danescthc Cubase AI5 does not suck, it's just scaled down. Comparing Cubase 5 to Cubase AI5 and saying it sucks is like saying an Epiphone Les Paul sucks compared to a Gibson Les Paul. Both are made by the same company, but are made available at different prices and with different features. I find it ironic that you bash Cubase AI5 that you paid for with your CI2, but then use a pirated version of Cubase 5.

  • @danescthc You tard, cubase 5 is uncrackable.

  • @angie4josh hahahahahah uncrackable?? hahahhahahaha what a dumbass!!!

  • @angie4josh uncrackable? you know how many people are seeding it on torrent sites?

  • @kevingp12 then why dont you have it from your stupid torrent site?

  • @angie4josh i do you dummy, i have cubase sx3 and cubase 5, i have sony acid pro, ableton live, fruity loopsproducer edition, and i have cake walk sonar. and i have $10,000 worth of vst's from waves mercury edition bundle. got anything to say?

  • @kevingp12 Actually Yes, you are in debt with your parents. dummy

  • @angie4josh and I bet you don't know how to use half of them.

  • @angie4josh no im no in debt because if you werent so retarded you would know that like i said before, i got them from torrent sites.

  • hey i just got cubase 5 and the CI2 having a bit of troubles when i plug in the top light coms on bright and the second one dull then the third not at all and when i plug my acoustic guitar in the playback sounds horable (but the guitarr sounds good) do you know how i could hook it up to make everything work? anyone got any advice please!??? thanks

  • @csimpsonmusic Yes it does. after a few hiccups caused by a conflict with the wireless adaptor it seems to be working well with the full version of Cubase 5. Just make sure you install the updated drivers that you can download from the SteinbergOf course your mileage may vary depending on how your rig is configured.

  • @eddiestrange i heard some people get crackle, latency issues? is that true, i really want to get this, ill get rid of my maudio fast track pro because it sucks and ill try to get this..
