  • Thank you so much for this message. It was well recieved.

  • Thank you so much for this message. It was well recieved,

  • Thought-provoking and I appreciate that Christianity isn't the only faith challenged here!

I also thought about our sports arenas, theaters, etc. - all money spent on the god of Entertainment. Many people may point fingers at the religious and excuse themselves from helping others for their lack of "relgion." Hmmmm?

If toes are to be stepped upon, I suspect there are far more toes that deserve "squashing" than just the "religious" among us.

  • I see that 13 people like this, while 49 dislike it. I wonder why.

Is it because so many are determined to build colossal monuments in the name of God, rather than doing what the Bible says, and caring for those in genuine need?

Is it because so many are focused on spending their money building on sand instead of on rock?

Is it because Jesus was right when he said "small is the gate and narrow the road that leads to life, and only a few find it." (Matthew 7:14)

  • A wonderful video!

Many Churches teach us to be enslaved to the Tithe (which was OLD Covenant), then wonder why all their time and effort spent in teaching the Tithe fails to keep people Tithing.

It's because God is not in it! God is busy looking at those who are suffering and asking us why we're pumping millions of dollars into building things which will not last.

  • wonderful vid i favorited it. if i can have your permission id like to download it and post it on my channel.

  • Ouch...that's a shaker.

Also makes me think of a certain SP episode:

"...so we will will build a new church, with crystal walls, a ceiling 80 foot high, and a slide that connects this part hya to this part nya!"

  • i love the message and lord of the rings music

  • thanks. i was still deist when i did this, but the point remains.

  • It makes a good point. Churches do sometimes organize for charity but unfortunately they sometimes (not always) require people to be indoctrinated to get it.
