I run a case picker just like this except 4 row and I run 5.3 mph. And it picks cleaner then any john deere around. Its all about how you set your hydrostat. I'm not knocking jd pickers, but the newer case pickers are far more advanced. We have a case and a john deere. So I'd know.
Looks pretty slick. What is the average speed a cotton picker like this can run? I grew up in Iowa around corn and soybeans so I don't have much knowledge of the cotton crop or harvest but it is fascinating. Thanks for the video!
@Ralfiukas Thats right, the john deere cotton picker is far superior to the case, more productivity, more horsepower (and their own engine), less cotton loss, protection for the cotton when it leaves the machine, consistent bale size for ease of ginning, faster picking speeds.. why would you buy anything else??
