  • Endou always beat fucking idiots

  • turns out the game will be broadcasted.

its on sbs 2 or something. not free to air sbs.

  • when is it on sbs2

  • hehehe

    Victory is Victory!!!

  • awesome game, awesome stadium

  • They might be surprised because they came from the southern hemisphere (village)

    to Japan.

Perhaps, they are not accustomed to the big city.

And, they were not able to put out the power of 100%.

  • bad luck adelaide, but you guys have been fantastic this season! great exposure for the a-league, great football but bad luck in this match, good luck to gamba against man utd! this comin from a qld roar fan :)

  • adelaide were SO unlucky not to score, and even win!

but at least they're recognised in the world stage now.

heres my question, HONESTLY, who would have a better chance at beating Man U? Adelaide or Gamba? reply

  • Obviously Gamba.

japanese teams are so good. Once in a friendly Kashima Antlers some years back beat Man U first team + CR7 2-1 in Japan.

  • yeah true. that embarrassed them LOL, even fergie said that they arent pushovers.

  • I'm from adelaide. Although Adelaide were unlucky not to score, gamba were unlucky not to even score more. It was a fair result. Adelaide were brave and put a good fight but bravery wasn't enough.

  • Adelaide defeated the champions of Japan Kashima. There's no reason why they couldn't challenge Urawa who seems to struggle against Sydney FC in the last ACL

  • LOL Urawa, best crowd, but play like turtle! xD

  • Good effort by the boys, Travis Dodd really should have scored that one on one chance. Young Osama Malik looked quite sharp when he came on. With a bit more luck we could have won.

I hate Melbourne Victory with a passion, but i think Kevin Muscat is quite a good commentator. (I cant believe im saying that!)

  • flavourofuranus Adelaide United are now an international name for Austrian fooball. I'd lik to see u do al the things weve done this yr AND STILL BE TOP OF THE FKN A-LEAGUE U DUMB CUNTZZZ

    GO ADELAIDEEEEEE

  • Gamba DID NOT deserve this win. They were just as unlucky (or even slack) with their opportunities and Adelaide had many more nail biting chances. Dodd must have been kicking himself after the final whistle but at least we are being recognized worldwide!

  • I will retract this statement, slightly. I feel both teams had their chances and both missed them. I think now in foresight that Gamba will be a much more stronger chance at defeating Man UTD. Best of luck Gamba!

  • Adelaide were so unlucky not to win. Dodd's 3 shots could of easy go in and so could Younis'. They made one mistake and Endo punished them for it. Sasa Ogenovski of held his ground and let Lucas run back into midfield and that goal wouldnt of happened. Lucas made the run to draw Ogenovski out of position so Endo could make the run it was a smart move. United were the better team they shut down Endo quickly in the first 15 mins. Unlucky good luck next game.

  • yeah true, but nah, you knew Gamba was going to win even if they were lazy in this game. sorry for sounding cocky, but its the truth.

  • nice game..........

  • damn crossbar =(

  • 3 games against Gamba, 3 losses.

Turning out to be Adelaides nemisis.

    lol.

    Mabey next time...

...but will there be a next time?

  • I guess they are in what we could call the Japanese MVFC since they do play in Blue. xD and AU and MVFC do have more of a rivalry (in terms of football )that than Sydney v MVFC (more of just a city rivalry, I see Adelaide as a more competent opponent, plus AU and MVFC aren't glamour club like Sydney)

  • it should of been 5 - 1 adelaides way,, they had so many shots.. and were soo close.. 1st Shot by Dodd,, was so close and other shot hit the bar.. :( should of been adelaides game!

  • Disappointing result, but the better team unfortunately won. Hopefully it will change quicker than expected, but at the moment the A-league clubs don't have the budget or experience to beat their J-league counterparts, at least not on a consistent basis. Adelaide's 3-0 home win over Kashima Antlers during the ACL suggests that the gap can be closed.

  • so unbelievable game, man, those shots at the scnd half, they were guns man, nd the captain man 2daii jst ddnt hav the chance 2 score, unfortunatelly. buh wat can we do, we all needed a slice of luck to win this game
