    1.DHANO is Human Being in Luo.

    DEN means Human Being in Brezhoneg, language of Breizh.

    Close to DHIANG'(cow), a very important animal in present and after life of the Luo.

    DUONG'O is to hit on something, especially when moulding it into shape.

    2. RAN is DHANO. "Dhano ma dhano", a common structure of Luo phrases to indicate emphasy.

    3. NAATH is NAAK in Luo, means innitiation into Luo community by having lower six teeth removed.

    4. NUER is KWER in Luo. Kwer is taboo, forbidden.

  • intersting program, i am frome nuba njimang (ama ) my real tribe name is (AMA) which means ( human ) similar to rama ran (nuer)....we are considered to be from eastern nioltic family...so this gentelman make a lot of sense...also i noticed one of nuer singer saying the ward( njala) which means (one) in my language but i do not know if it is same in nuer....i think most sudanese are one family sometimes in the past.......
