@RSATT01 Oh I know that. I know where it comes from. That still doesn't mean I agree with the design choice though. I prefer to play with a character who looks like they actually did in game. I spent many more hours looking at he character in game rather than artwork. That is the image I associate with the character and believe that character should look like. I understand that it is a design choice, understand but disagree.

@clovisexplosion133 In her character art it is blonde, but since there was another blonde character and her game was back when they were still using sprites, they made her hair green so that nobody would confuse them. Apperantly they made her green hair an alternate costume. I prefer the green

They remade FF6 for the PS1 and they gave her blonde hair in the 3D opening.You can play as her with green hair in this game.

I'm guessing when they remade Ff6 for the PS1 they thought giving her blonde hair would make her more realistic in 3D. Or they thought she didn't look good with green hair in 3D. Either or.

I'm pretty sure they first decided to give her green hair and then they were gonna make her 3D for the PS1 remake, they decided blonde was better for a realistic look.

They have done this for other animes and what not too, so I'm pretty damn sure that's the case lol.

It's the same as saying why the heck did they give blond characters Feris and Lenna pink haired sprites whilst in the same game, their team mate Krile had a blond sprite. Terra herself IS Blond. Why they didn't portray her as such in Final Fantasy VI, yet, in ALL official artwork that's been shown she is blond haired, DISSIDIA included. And it wasn't PS2 they were going to make it 3D for, it was the N64. And even there, Terra was indeed blond.

@kerukun878 1st off I never said PS2, I said PSONE, aka PSX. Which they DID remake it for. Just the GamePlay wasn't remade, though from what I heard they were going to make it all 3D but instead they just made 3D videos and made FF7.

And your right, I forgot what the artwork for the original game cover looked like and I rechecked it. Though I guess it is possible they wanted her to look different, but it's also possible they wanted her with green to look anime like.

But it wasn't gonna be in 3D IIRC, though it did have CG intros for the two games. In the 64 demo, however, it was scrapped.

Actually Terra's hair is green in the American version but is blond in the Japanese version. However her Esper form remains the same, golden nails, purple arms and shins/feet with purple tips in her hair.
