  • Antiestablishmentarianism (or anti-establishmentarianism) is a policy or attitude that views a nation's power structure as corrupt, repressive, or exploitive.

  • My school's band played Mary Poppins songs at our concert. It was so much fun. One of our directors came out dressed up as Mary Poppins. It was great :)

  • I agree.

  • @77J One of my best friends that went to Jr. High with me makes me sing this song every day. I see him every day at a day program. Our laughs get worse each year.

  • @77J You're right! As a matter of fact, Supercalifragilisticexpialidocious is also the right word to describe my very best friend that went to Junior High School with me. I see him at CIDP every day. I'm so glad that I get to go to school with him again. This week was our Jolly Holiday and I gave his whole family Chinese Food and they include three beef stew noodles, one chow fun and tomato beef chow mein. Also, I sung this song to him today.

  • @77J could u imagin havin that as a spellin word

  • Supercalifragilisticexpialidocious is definitely the longest word I've ever heard, especially in Mary Poppins.

  • What's Antidestablishmentarianism means?

  • It's a made-up word, so I don't know.

  • no its not.

  • @film017forever , actually it is rather arguable and certainly not the longest in the English language. Webster (dictionary) doesn't carry it because it is not used that often. However it originally meant "opposition to the disestablishment of the Church of England" (not wanting to get rid of the church of England, for those of you reading this) but more commonly (now) "opposition to the belief that there should no longer be an official church in a country." Hope this helps.

  • @film017forever No its not, it mean;

A political position that originated in nineteenth-century Britain in opposition to proposals for the disestablishment of the Church of England, that is, to remove the Anglican Church's status as the state church of England, Ireland and Wales.

  • @film017forever It's not made up, dumb fuck

  • @film017forever Before saying something is made up, get your facts right. antidisestablishmentarianism is a real world.

  • @film017forever Actually it's not made up it means the doctrine or political position that opposes the withdrawal of state recognition of an established church

  • Actually it's real! xD

It was politicol happening in England during the 19th century, it was against Distablishmentarianism which was the movement to bring down the Anglican church!

  • @film017forever uhm, actually it's a real word...

  • @film017forever not it's not, it means being against the Church of England being

  • @film017forever not it's not, it means you are against the Church of England being seperated from the government

  • @film017forever it's a real word

  • @film017forever It's not made up, it's the actual longest english word.

  • @film017forever nope, it means against someone whose against something

  • @film017forever no the word is real

  • @film017forever its not a made up word google it

  • @film017forever no, it's not made up

  • @film017forever Actually, antidisestablishmentarianism is a real word. The longest word in the Oxford English Dictionary is pneumonoultramicroscopicsilicovolcanoconiosis. Supercalifragilisticexpialidocious is second, I believe.

  • @simpsonsfan2007

actually Supercalifragilisticexpialidocious is 3rd by one letter difference.

  • @film017forever

antidisestablishmentarianism is a political party which opposed the disestablishment of the "Church of England"

  • @film017forever Antidisestablishmentarianism is not a made up word. serious ignorance on your behalfmatey ;)

  • @film017forever No, it's not! It's a political position from the Nineteenth Century. It is the opposition (anti) to a movement whose aim was to remove the estabilishment (dis-estabilishment) of the Anglican Church as the official Church of England. In other words, back then there were people who actually wanted the Anglican Church to be the Church of England and opposed anyone who said it shouldn't be like that. Those people were called antidisestabilishmentarians.

  • @film017forever Not really? it is a word xD

  • Opposes the demolishing of the status quo.

  • @raffiandwigglesrock

it means be against the separation of church and state

  • @raffiandwigglesrock it is a real word its on wikipedia Supercalifragilisticexpialidocious isn;t a reak word but antidestablishmentarianism is

  • @raffiandwigglesrock Actually we learned about that word in high school..something about being against the rules and rights of the church..something like that. High school was awhile ago, me memory isnt what it used to be heh.

  • @raffiandwigglesrock It means to be against the disestablishment of something. Much easier to just say establishimentmentarianism... Wait, I messed that up, but you can remove the antides-part and get the same meaning, as it's two negatives who cancel each other out.

  • @raffiandwigglesrock

    google it

  • @raffiandwigglesrock no it's real

it the opposition of those who oppose the link between church and state

  • @raffiandwigglesrock Antidisestablishmentarianism is the movement or ideology of advocates of opposition to disestablishment; the movement or ideology that opposes disestablishment (simply not wanting a separation of church and state) :)

  • @raffiandwigglesrock is a political position that originated in 19th-century Britain in opposition to proposals for the disestablishment of the Church of England, that is, to remove the Anglican Church's status as the state church of England, Ireland and Wales :D

  • @raffiandwigglesrock an`ti`dis`es`tab`lish`men`ta´ri`an`ism (ăn`tė`dĭs`ĕs`tăb`lĭsh`men`târ´ė`ăn`ĭz'm)

    n. 1. the doctrine or political position that opposes the withdrawal of state recognition of an established church; - used especially concerning the Anglican Church in England. Opposed to disestablishmentarianism.

  • @raffiandwigglesrock It's actually an actual word.

  • @raffiandwigglesrock antidisestablishmentarianism is a real word... just look it up in the dictionary!

  • @raffiandwigglesrock

Antidisestablismentarianism - a group of people opposed to a group of people who support the disestablishment of the church

(disestablishment of the church = removal of a national religion/church)

  • @raffiandwigglesrock

It basically means counter-terrorism. Go a read a fuckin dictionary.

  • @raffiandwigglesrock actually, it's a word.

"Antidisestablishmentarianism is a political position that originated in nineteenth-century Britain in opposition to proposals for the disestablishment of the Church of England, that is, to remove the Anglican Church's status as the state church of England, Ireland and Wales."

  • @raffiandwigglesrock Actually it's "Antidisestablishmentarianism", you've missed out the 'i' and 's' after the first 'd'. lool

It's on Wiki, in case you're still wondering after 2 years. XD
