Man you nailed it. This is a great tune. I used to listen to this album backi n the 80's and I think this is the best tune form that one. You captured the feel and the spirit of the tune here.
@MrsGuitback2 Thx..early eighties was when i first heard Alex...changed the music in my head forever after that :) like all his pieces Alex makes them sound effortless to play but this one is nuts
Way above your skill level? I think you've done a really great job here man so don't put yourself down! I don't know the original, but I think your version is terrific and has whetted my appetite for more. That's a really nice tone you have there, which to my ear is more important than all the technical skills in the world and really makes me want to listen. Well done!

Great job Steve! I can't thank you enough for posting this video! Wow! This one really brings back memories! So, you learned this one by ear? Awesome! This piece takes off and never lets up!! I would love to get the book that has this one in it. Can you give me the title? Also, do you know where I can find a recording of this piece now? Thanks for the video! Really enjoyed it! -Derek
Thats one thing i like about utube..being able to see helps take a lot of guesswork away from the ears. I'm going to redo this song when i can play it a bit better. I'm happy if this video helps others too :)
Thanks..Some reverb was added afterwards In Cubase SX3 thats all. I tabbed it out myself over 15 years ago, whenever i go thru periods of not playing for a long time this will be one of the songs I will pull out.
Great! You played it very enjoyable! Congrats and thanks for sharing!

Just beautiful, Steve!
You've captured all of the nuances for this piece! I'm simply amazed that you managed to do that all by ear.
I hope that someday I'll somehow manage to be half the musician that you are!
Thanks for sharing!
