It's the factory siren from 2005.5 Jettas. 1K0 951 605 A at your local dealer. You'll need to run an additional wire across the engine bay to the fuse panel, but it's a fairly simple install overall.
umm. You can turn it on by leaving the windows down and locking the car. Then grab the inside door handle and it should go off. Then you can turn it off by either unlocking the drivers side door with the key or putting the key in the ignition.
I just go my jetta and I love him. What I would like to know is what taillights do you have becasue I see that the blinker in the rear is orange/yellow and the stock is red. If you dont mind showing me pictures of the rear that would be cool. Also if your headlights start to give you problems they are recalling the screws so check it out. Just had mine done 2 days ago.
It's not a wise idea to do that frequently, but there's no harm done in doing it for the short clip I filmed. Ever seen a 2002 or 2003 Maxima's alarm going off? The HIDs flash just like our turn signals do for our alarm.
That is stock on 2005.5 Jettas and 2004 and 2005 Touaregs, but that's about it. It's pretty clear that it was a cost-cutting measure to remove it.
what siren is that.. like model

He's apart of the amber club as they say on the tex, lol. Basically, I think he has the European tails which can blink amber.

How did you get your lights to come on when you unlocked the car?
Vag-Com? or did is that another thing they removed from the 06+?

VagCom. It's known as "Leaving Home." If you are on vwVortex, shoot me an IM at the same name as my username here on YouTube.

you shouldn't do that...it's bad for the xenon lights to turn on and off so quickly. i like the sound of the arm/disarm is that stock for all jettas?
