  • Beautiful video!

  • Muito bom.

  • hey is that my reflection i can see in the water?

  • 4:36 someone throw on him a rock :O

  • Is it just me wondering why they are not paddling at the beginning. Tow in was so last year..........Girlfriend!!

  • Last one was throwing

  • and also the reef that lies beneath!!!!!

  • meh, 6 ft? The one at 6 min mark and after are way to big to paddle into.

  • wtf its like 6ft, paddle in you bitches

  • @surring16 teahupoo isnt scary because of size, its scary because of the fucking power... knob

  • @surring16 that wave is so powerful i think you should go out there b4 you criticize other people atleast there out there. you look tough when your behind the coputer screen but i bet if you were there you would bitch it

  • tow in is a huge advantage at this break because you can be at 20mph and avoid having to make the drop. tow in is much easier surfing. you can ride many more waves, you have a board caddy so to speak and don't expend yourself paddling around.

  • Small Teahupoo

  • small day by teahupoo standards.. lol at the epic lip to head!!

  • ksssssssssssss.. like riding a knife through butter

  • Teahupoo looks SCARY!!!

  • amazing.. very glassy

  • The guy tows in, then races too far down the line, so doesn't even get deep, stands up on the end section and gets it in the head!! Its things like this that is gettin ppl all worked up about tow vs paddle. If the wave can be paddled then paddle it! In the end you gonna get a far better (as well as deeper pit) adrenaline rush by doing a late drop on those waves. The best is the shot of the whole line up waiting to paddle in an the guy comin from deep to snake them all cause he got towed in???

  • the perfect wave

  • ive seen bigger at chopes

  • @Drumrpcs I'm pretty sure so has everyone else but they are just talking about how glassy it is.

  • Comment removed

  • @Drumrpcs good for you, have you ridden bigger?

  • @shrimpygeorge yah right id be shittin my pants standin on the shore....i thought people were freaking out about the size not glassyness

  • @Drumrpcs nahh mann it aint that big ... well yeah it is but we all know about teahupoo and only surfers know how increadibly beautifull and sweet a glassy day can be .. ^.^

  • 2:30 wave did a head-shot

  • @TheYesnon either no wind or a slight off shore wind

  • aceite

  • omg jizz! double jizz! fkn epic waves man

  • Guy at 2:30 thought he was top shit standing up as straight as possible hahah then lip to the head

  • " Go back to yer country, i cant understand what yer sayin...White power.."

  • Another example that shows the pussyfication of a once great sport. Getting towed onto a wave and getting picked up and towed back out again. What happen to the good old days when REAL men actually paddled onto waves and paddled back out after a ride? The late Duke is probably crying his eyes out.

  • @Mooncat747 wana be alpha male with no touch on reality... nice man keep up the good work

  • @hartenskim Ditto :)

  • i thought 2:20-2:30 was the youriding game. itssoglassy!

  • Many of us surfers and bodyboarders can only dream to catch such a clean beautiful wave like that. Don't you agree?

  • Is it possible to surf this place without the circus?

  • towing into waves that's still very paddleable. Just a waste of gas... .

  • 2:31 Muahahahahaha

  • most humbling thing ever

  • 2:32 get some bitch lolololol

  • how good is that

  • 0 wind

  • niceeeeee

  • Comment removed

  • SO GLASSY

  • 2:32 LOL

and by the way i hate french language.

  • @69pornstar69 fuck french

  • vidéo for charentaise du dimanche

  • Ah I don't like that, it's only about 6-7foot and they are towing in.

    That just grinds my gears.

It is perfectly suitable for paddling.

It's just making surfing more and more into a novelty.

  • @AsianScrotom Bro Teahupoo is a extremly fast and strong wave, you cant paddle it when its in tose conditions. You just cant paddle that fast..

  • @elguappo94 Yeah you are right, sorry.

I commented on the video after only watching the first few minutes.

I then realized that what I had said was wrong when I saw the bigger sets the were taking off on.

    My apologies.

  • @AsianScrotom No problem bro, do you surf?

  • @elguappo94 Yeah man, from Asutralia!

  • bodyboarding will go the same way as kneeboarding... all the mates I grew up with who bodyboarded were either soft and gave it up, or started surf the right way: standing up. and none of them ever looked back...

  • @papastreets You said it bradah!

  • @papastreets yeah thats cool but in the end we all do the same thing and that is surfing waves wether its prone of standing up...bodyboarding has its pros and cons as well with surfing

  • Comment removed

  • obviously u dont surf, surfers say aggro. not big swell!!

  • @maximaximax1 wow... fag

  • Comment removed

  • best conditions i ever seen of teahupoo

  • last wave... raw

  • look at the glasssssssssssssssssssss jeeeeeeeeesus

  • I never saw bodyboarders at teahupoo... bodyboard is dead! surf is up, inovating and growin..

  • @ricardomaulaz Actually it's the opposite, you lil surfers are growing out and Bodyboarding is rising to the top

  • @ricardomaulaz haha you obviously never searched "bodybarding teahupoo" try it bodyboarders kill this spot! but you should give respect to everyone in the water no matter what there riding...dont be a kook

  • @ricardomaulaz uhh are you joking me? bodyboarders rip at teahupoo, bodyboarding is growing quickly and rising to the top. Have you been living under a rock or something?

  • @ricardomaulaz I bodyboard however i still have respect for some surfers who can still charge it, however bodyboarders own! this spot! also bodyboarding is a extremely fast growing sport and it will soon be more popular than surfers because of all the young bodyboarders when there older they will keep bodyboarding and not as many people will surf!

  • @ricardomaulaz lol?

    youtube.com/watch?v=2lMDg6ht_sE

Surf is up? i don't think so.

  • thats a good flick but these guys are doing it strap on and all when bodyboarders ride this wave same size paddel in and do airs out of it but yet you still disrespect bodyboarders?

  • @SpongerLiam

    yes i do.. so what?

  • shivers

  • Dayyyummm.. Wudv loved to see this in 720p... How sick would that be

  • towing into that is absolutely unnecessary. body boarders paddle into teahupo'o twice that size.. and surfers sometimes do too...no need for a ski team that day...

  • @jollyholly shut the fuck up

  • 6:47 gave me goosebumps!! so big and sickKK!!

  • its so dark...was it early in the morning or something? or was it cloudy that day or what? anyone know haha? cause the darkness makes the wave so much sicker!

  • @dafuckyouguy actually the speaker says its at 6am

  • Nice waves.......awesome conditions!!!

  • Epic. Good thing I'm studying French.

Do they make boards especially for this place, this Teahupoo?

  • no but you towed in on a jet ski or else its immpossible to surf

  • Are you sure that it's absolutely impossible to surf without being towed in? This raises my skeptical antennae.

  • no i mean this beach only when its this big i mean it drops off so fast idk if you would be able to paddle in

  • There are particular swell size and direction combinations that make this place impossible to surf without towing in because of the way the lip throws - the wave folds in half in some instances and you need sheer speed just to make the drop. Otherwise plenty of people paddle in to it.

  • people paddle it all the time

  • I would much rather paddle here but if it was to big then id tow it hahaha

  • Not to take away from what these guy do though.

  • Boogies paddle in all day at chopes....

  • because at Teahupoo it is really hard to paddle-in when the drop is so massive it just gets u stuck on top of the wave and then u could get sucked inside the wave...not the best feeling

  • Why are these guys towing in when you can paddle in?

  • I would say they are towing in to see how deep they can get in the barrel.

  • @Axehand even with towing in they arent even getting that deep

  • @Axehand they're towing in cus if you tried to paddle into that you wouldn't make it. the wave is too fast for paddling

  • @surfingpinetrees

you can still paddle into that wave when it's twice as big... at 3:50 you see heaps of other surfers not towing in... axehand's right.. definitely to get deeper in the barrel...

  • @Axehand speed as well, better than paddling

  • holey shit theres not even a single ripple (besidse the big waves

  • pure porn

  • 6:43

  • fuck you lads are snaking all the paddlers by getting real deep on ur jetskis , slack

  • its not like the tow in surfers take ALL the waves, they have much respect for all the surfers in the ocean and they wait their turn just like everyone else.

  • shouldn't be towing when guys are out paddling... really lame.

  • most of those sets are fuking clean

  • gets fuckin brained at 2 33

  • Great video .... wish I understood French.

  • Best video of teahupoo on youtube for sure!

  • wow teahupoo is too perfect i would like to ride it but it's too dangerous for my boards without jet-ski
