  • It says that the focal length of that canon lens is 50mm. So I guess the "wide angle" (which was already miserable of the canon hv20/30) is practically not existent with that new Canon lens? What is your experience?

  • @Gaussman it kills it. You can see it in my other video when i add/remove the Jag35

  • does this work on a canon hf s10

  • Camera : Canon Vixia HV30

    Len : canon Fl 50mm 1:1.4

Editing Software : Pinnacle Studio 14

Location : Yankee Stadium & Times Square

    35mm Dof Adapter : Jag35Pro

    Director : Alexis Abreu ( Face2mime )

  • its only 199$ now

  • You still using the jag? How''s it holding up/how often do you need to clean it?

  • not using it much, it's holding good and don't need much clean up. But it depend on your use i guess

  • I think you´re right man. The last videos who have filmed are greats. Don´t mind about the dusts, take care.

    A man from Spain.

  • Are you really happy with the adaptor?. I´m thinking about buy someone, but i don´t know if i´ll buy this or the JagPro. In your video right up I notice that in the right part of the video with de adaptor there are stains. what do yo think about it?

  • Opened it and saw the little speckle in the lens. Don't think i could remove it without unscrewing a few screw i'd rather not touch... bad luck i guess.

I don't mind much since it could EASILY be smudge off in post prod without losing much quality.

I got the cheapest one too, so i wasn't expecting much. I'm happy with my investment because i know i will have use for it, but for specific shoot only.

  • thanx, and thanks for posting this vid. u saved my jag35 (i wasnt aware of the achromat) im ordering it today

  • wat camcorder were u using?

  • Canon HG20

  • will your camera's autofocus still work with the adaptor?

  • No, since the camera films the LENS inside the adapter. Also, you cannot really zoom. The 35mm is pretty much only useful for steady shot.

  • @spannungs

    will this fit the hf20/200

  • chek the front of your lens, it will tell you the Thread size, which you will choose on the jag website

  • Have you tested the difference between the adapter with and without the achromat? I've been searching around, but can't find any much info on how big of a difference it makes.

  • I just posted one! Enjoy

  • Thanks!!!

  • how did you get rid of the vignetting? what type of cam do you use? i just got mine, but the image looks too dark

  • I have the Achromat so it doesn't show has much and i zoom my cam plus i did some post production!

  • my jag is on the way now i will post some footage like this as soon as i get it !! and i have a nother question what focus screen did it come with and do u have to order the 5 micron separate

  • HOW DO U LIKE IT SO FAR

  • really nice!

  • sweet, does it go on canon 7D?

  • Great Edit.... loved the music... thanks for sharing! Might put it up on the Jag35 site !

  • did u buy an achromat with it?

  • Yes! Took the Achromat!

  • o ahah i didn't look at the description carefully
