Aaaah that was beautiful. I visited Ely in '89. We took a boat down the river and my boyfriend at the time was inspired to become a stone carver after seeing this, and other, cathedrals.

Is the big antiques centre still there?

From the comments I learned that the imposing structure is Ely Cathedral - it is marvelous to look at and with my engineering background, it is a marvel to imagine the construction, even with modern equipment. Simply amazing. The sunset at the end was stunning. Another superb video mate!

kurt gnu the zoom is 400 optical and 2000 digital,but youtube murdered the clarity it was almost 400mb so i had to compress to 100 lol scotty and libby:0)
