  • I remember this being played by my father over and over again I still remember listening to the guy introducing the equipment like Grand Piano electric guitar. I dont seem to be able to find a version were they do that tho..

  • This LP was given to me by an old friend.BEST version of Tubular Bells, hands down!I don't know who the stage announcer(introducing the instruments)is,but he sounds like Terry Jones,of Monty Python fame,in his silly,clowning voice.A truly masterful performance by the boy-genius,Mike Oldfield! Remember, he wrote this piece(and played all the instruments himself) at SIXTEEN YEARS OLD!Let's see ANY of today's "artists" do THAT!They're lucky if they can LIP-SYNC the RECORDING without screwing it up!
