They aren't letting fans pick songs. Activision is picking the songs and Activision held open voting to see which of the previous games' included tracks would be revealed first. GH1 was first, then GH2. The next tracks will be revealed in 3 days. My guess it will be GH3 since TTFAF is already confirmed.

Yer, this game is probably going to be good but the thing that annyos me is that in the U.K. Guitar Hero World Tour hasn't been out for long (since November) and now Guitar Hero Metallica is coming out around 27th of May and now this in June...Instead of bringing out so many new games why don't they just make some decent DLC for the main titles in the series e.g. GHWT because it has just come out.

Oh people, stop complaining about Activision making so many GH games, this is a brilliant idea. Im definitely buying this. Free Bird, Bark at the Moon, and TTFATF? Yeah, thats sweet.
for every1 arguing bout rb and gh heres the lowdown. gh is more challenging so hardcore fans like it better. however rb is more for parties becuz its easier and has way more dlc. sadly the casual gamers out weigh the hardcore so rb is winning
wow you know there desperate when they take songs they have the rights to and are already in different games and put them in one. some of you may fall for this trick and think that's great that i can play all my favorites on one game but remember, rock band let's you take all rock band one songs icluding downloaded ones and import them to rock band 2 AND they plan to have over 5000 downloadable songs by 2010. they just released a whole pearl jam album.
think of us gamers that have only one guitar hero game (world tour for me), having all the best songs in one game is a no-brainer. plus, since there is going to be less time spent on getting the rights to songs, they can put more energy into extra features.
and now all these songs are for the whole band, so i can sing Free Bird and play drums for TTFAF
rock band takes all the song that gh uses so dont be saying gh took rockband songs, another thing is, transfering rockband 1 songs onto rockband 2 isn't great at all, it's not hard to switch the disk
not that many songs were taken and gh did take some songs from rb. besides i never said that in the first place, i just said that GH is desperate now and you know it because of this game.
harmonix worked with them in gh1 and 2, the songs that rockband have been taking have been from mostly guitar hero 3 and world tour with it's add on content. rockband was made before ghwt but they still copy the songs with the add on content and gh3 came out before rockband which has most the same bands as all the ghs with maybe 3 or more bands
GHM seems like they're rippingyou off, i mean 48 songs costing 60 bucks? surely now thats a rip off, and another GH game? really? GH over stayed its welcome and its played out using the old songs from previous GH games is just lazy
dude gh doesn't rip u off because lets face it, rb is boring. the only fun song their is on rockband is greengrass and high tides because it's the only challneging song. another thing is all together rockband has about 150 songs not including downloads. gh have made 6 differents games with over 60 on gh1 over 70 on gh2 over 70 on gh3 i think about 50 or 40 on rock the 80's about 70 on ghwt and about 45 on ghm. now which one do u think has the most songs, and gh has add ons too which are all fun
It's bad enough for the Wii that we don't get as much DLC as the PS3 and 360. So if you consider the Wii as your main console, this would be quite a treat.

for every1 arguing bout rb and gh heres the lowdown. gh is more challenging so hardcore fans like it better. however rb is more for parties becuz its easier and has way more dlc. sadly the casual gamers out weigh the hardcore so rb is winning

wow you know there desperate when they take songs they have the rights to and are already in different games and put them in one. some of you may fall for this trick and think that's great that i can play all my favorites on one game but remember, rock band let's you take all rock band one songs icluding downloaded ones and import them to rock band 2 AND they plan to have over 5000 downloadable songs by 2010. they just released a whole pearl jam album.

think of us gamers that have only one guitar hero game (world tour for me), having all the best songs in one game is a no-brainer. plus, since there is going to be less time spent on getting the rights to songs, they can put more energy into extra features.
and now all these songs are for the whole band, so i can sing Free Bird and play drums for TTFAF

rock band takes all the song that gh uses so dont be saying gh took rockband songs, another thing is, transfering rockband 1 songs onto rockband 2 isn't great at all, it's not hard to switch the disk

not that many songs were taken and gh did take some songs from rb. besides i never said that in the first place, i just said that GH is desperate now and you know it because of this game.

first of rockband came out before ghwt and harmonix used to make gh , thats why theres so many songs in rockband that used to be in gh

harmonix worked with them in gh1 and 2, the songs that rockband have been taking have been from mostly guitar hero 3 and world tour with it's add on content. rockband was made before ghwt but they still copy the songs with the add on content and gh3 came out before rockband which has most the same bands as all the ghs with maybe 3 or more bands

GHM seems like they're rippingyou off, i mean 48 songs costing 60 bucks? surely now thats a rip off, and another GH game? really? GH over stayed its welcome and its played out using the old songs from previous GH games is just lazy

RB2=90
and for %$ you can put your rock band 1 songs onto your rock band 2 and for free you get to keep all your old downloaded songs. GH just rips you off.

dude gh doesn't rip u off because lets face it, rb is boring. the only fun song their is on rockband is greengrass and high tides because it's the only challneging song. another thing is all together rockband has about 150 songs not including downloads. gh have made 6 differents games with over 60 on gh1 over 70 on gh2 over 70 on gh3 i think about 50 or 40 on rock the 80's about 70 on ghwt and about 45 on ghm. now which one do u think has the most songs, and gh has add ons too which are all fun
