Immortality doesn't have the same meaning as being invincible or being indestructible. Immortal simply means that they won't age or be ravaged by disease, time or those sort of things. But technically speaking, Alucard is as close to being indestructible as any anime can allow him. He can still die, but the only way to do so is to wear him down extremely. And that in itself is almost near impossible.
Actually vampires are undead, and yes they can be killed. But what I was trying to explain is that immortality simply means that someone is not affected by age or disease. Which, in this close Alucard and Seras are really and truly the living definition of the word, though in Alucard's case he really is hard to kill.
I think Anderson and Intergra's great granfather Van Helsing were the only one's close to killing him. Though with the latter I'm still wondering how he did it. Oh well.
seras has always been my fav character in hellsing and always will be but the ultimate/ova series seras is beast best character ever
