this track i truly dope! i know one other track in 3/4 time though. it's called "In The Mourning" by Invincible. this one is better though imo (though Invincible is ill!). this is truly an amazing track though, i must say. thanks for sharing. i will say, i agree with the comment that it should be cut shorter. it drags on a bit. other than that, this should be a hit!
@floppybelly No. If you want to buy something, you have to go buy files or CDs at lulu dot com slash creativebrother or to the links mentioned on the main page for this channel.
Just so you know creativebro, I'm using this tomorrow with a 6th grade music class to talk about 3/4 time! I would buy it, but that site is not working!!!!
really digging this song. i was just searching for songs in 3/4 time to get feel for how to approach writing a song in that time sig, found this instead! thanks for making my day a little better!
@Zedzilla It's close. Still is 6/8 more than 3/4. There's a very fine line to walk to make something 3 instead of 6, and in fact, some musicians flat out don't see the difference between the 2. But, thanks for the track, though. In fact, I'm a add it to one of my playlists.
@creativebrother while i suppose i wouldn't be able to articulate the difference between rapping in 6/8 versus 3/4, the drum part that begins the song and plays throughout the entire track is definitely 3 beats long, not 6. either way, surprisingly the only hip-hop song i can think of that is in a non 4/4 time signature. glad you thought it was interesting!
@Zedzilla 6/8 is really a duple meter...you can tap your foot 1,2,1,2, and each beat gets an 1/8th note triplet...With this track, you can't tap it in two no matter how hard you try....that is the test, really.

I like this................Slammin track, good quality, good production, nice beats, nice voice, creative and what real hip hop is......................
hiphop could be in 11/4 or a set of 6 then 7...if someone had the skill and talent to perform something to that...but hiphop is usually about setting a trance state with easy time to rhyme with...i have hiphop beats with varied time signatures and sometime there even isnt one..anything can be done, it depends on how much you like fucking with the music your making, or if you want people to easyily get along wit it
I think its a great track.. I immediately tried to create a 3/4 hip-hop track. I had this idea for a longer time now.. I searched for an existing one on google and found yours.
I was about to complain in a forum about how nobody's ever thought to rap in 3/4, but then I double checked and found this. Nice work. It's more like 4/4 with the 4th beat cut off, considering the snare still hits on the 2nd beat instead of the 3rd like normal 3/4. Still, props for being a pioneer. I'd be really impressed if you could rap over a 100 bpm 3/4 beat though. Regardless, you've got a lot of talent and I like your message. Keep it up.
that link doesnt work... where can i listen and or buy your music?

bnjmn07 9 months ago
@bnjmn07 Eminem's song is in 6/8, not 3/4. So is that 6/8 song by Nikki Minaj. A true 3/4 rap is very rare.
openfist247 9 months ago
@openfist247 watev's man, it's preety much the same to rap to
bnjmn07 8 months ago
@bnjmn07 Not really. 6/8 has more of a 4/4 feel to it to me. 3/4 is a little more binding and a bit trickier.
creativebrother 8 months ago
@creativebrother well to each his own i guess
bnjmn07 8 months ago
@bnjmn07 There's a reason why 6/8 is different than 3/4... You can't just say "It's the same. To each his own"....
paintballer9110 2 months ago
@paintballer9110 bro, i just did.
bnjmn07 2 months ago
@bnjmn07 usually 6/8 has 2 heavy beats with 2 light beats . so you feel it as:
ONE two three FOUR five six
with 3/4 its just 3 heavy beats: ONE TWO THREE

Nice track. You really need to fade it out shortly after 3:00m though

I've always thought rap would work well in 3/4. This is really incredible.

@creativebrother I was really confused about the time signature of that song... it almost seems like there are two time signatures going on.

you don't really need to search far away to find 3/4 rap. check out Jay-Z - My first song from Black Album, yo

That's 6/8, not 3/4. Good, banging song, no doubt, but, it's not 3/4. It's pretty close.

Yep. I've done 3/4 and freestyled in 5/4. Hmmn. I need to do a song in 5/4.
