This was the Demo tape version (work in progress) and not yet released.
However, when Stiff released it on the 1977 My Aim Is True (Bonus Tracks) it had changed, even the tonal quality differs from the Demo tape, recorded in mono in Costello's bedroom, as does the tempo.
So, this is the original demo version, warts & all and, if you listen carefully with headphones, you'll even here voices in the background which came from outside his room.
