The most common consist I've seen are 5 cars, coach, coach, coach/cafe, coach, coach (cab car). As in some of the videos I've posted, the repainted Superliner car (no automatic doors) is usually the one coupled to the locomotive. Sometimes, it is only 4 cars long. There's no Business Class like the Surfliner.
i like the way F59PHIs look.

@rdrom70 the newest addition to the passenger locomotive market with the 710 is the MPI MP40PH-3C. Amtrak should get them to replace P42DCs.

Yeah, it's funny, they started doing that with the Surfliners, painting the Superliners into the Surf sceme.

What is the typical consist of the northern California trains? I'm only familiar with the Surfliners, and I don't know if they're set up the same way.
On the Surfliners its: F59PHI, Business Class, Coach/Cafe, Coach, Coach, Coach/Baggage (Cab Car).
If you can help, I'd really appreciate it. Thanks!
