"The gnawing hunger to know is never sated..." Perhaps this is one of the reasons why psychedelic drugs will continue to be used by those who desire to obtain answers to questions such as:

"What is it like to die?"

"What will one undergo during the transition between life and death?"

"What memories has the unconscious mind repressed and buried deep inside?"

"What is it like to see sound and hear color?"

This, and the desire to change and see things in a different light also play a role.

@Nguli34689 Yes, doing some purple microdot I was feeling that "everything is groovy" feeling. It is definitely part of the drug. So, the hunger to feel good may also be involved.
