Religion obscenely pretends to absolve people of all sin. It is license to sin without consequence (just "believe").
It's high time for humanity to outgrow such primitive, indefensible "philosophy". The idea that someone else (ex: Christ) can take away your responsibility for any bad deeds is the toxic foundation beneath the "integrity" of religion, and the reason it can be so violent.
If you torture & kill someone, should I be allowed to take your punishment in your place? Is that justice?
