if you were to mask out a shape in final cut express on a diffrent layer could you see the layer under it?

use spotlight to find it - I assume you haven't deleted the folder...

That's great! Thanks a lot! 8 points isn't enough and I don't understand what adding another 8 point does.

Only problem is you have to add the feathering yourself and I didn't notice a change on some of the settings. Oh well. 50 points. I can hardly complain!

I have Motion now. But it's not as good as After Effects which I also have.

Is there a way to move the origin on the center?? Like that yellow cross.. is there a way to move that? because I'm trying to mask out some people in a picture, but when I try and click round their bodies in order to do so it doesn't work at all. In fact it just goes the complete opposite direction and it doesn't follow the pattern I'm trying to make it go to. Does that make any sense?? Can you please help if you can asap. Thanks in advance

If you had a wire holding up a puppet, could you use the mask to edit out the wire with a picture of the set with nothing on it?
