This gorgeous song makes me tear up every time I hear it. It reminds me of possibly the sweetest lady I'll ever know, My wife's late great grandmother by the same name, and how her husband of sixty odd years was so incomplete and lost without her.
Jimmy WROTE this song! Who better to sing it than its author? He has a beautiful tenor, and was a real asset to The Statler Brothers after Lew DeWitt got gravely ill.
WOW.......love it ! What else can I say? DOUBLE WOW! Love Jimmy's solo version, and love it with the Statlers. I grew up going to Statler shows. Saw my first show when they were with Johnny Cash in the early 1960s at Springlake Amusement Park, OKC, OK...Loved the group with Lou...Loved it more with Jimmy. Thanks for giving us the gift of such great music and unforgettable memories, Jimmy!
good version, but without the rest of the brothers, it's not as good, sorry. great song regardless...
