@tkdvtf It really depends on the movement as a whole eccentric/concentric + weight+force/speed. If all you did was focus on doing just negatives you would not be allowing yourself to get strong in the whole range of a movement. For example, if someone you took two guys that are the same age/height/weight. Both train with the sam 60% max on a Deadlift one only performing the eccentric phase and the other performing the eccentric and concentric phase explosively. Who will be stronger?
