Yeah, they are one of, if not the best trucks ever made imo. Also I have had very good experiences with dodge trucks. My father has a 2001 dakota that he got new in 2001, it has 290,000 miles on it already and is still running great. I've already learned the hard way by breaking the stock 302 that was in my mustang, but even that had 280,000 on it, about the last 50,000 I added a bunch of parts w/o really planning my build out so it was my fault. Cars are only as good as maintenance n $ allows.

i agree except for the fact that i see new cars broken down all the time, everywhere, a lot more than i see my 20 year old 5.0 broken down. it's all about how well you care for your vehicle. i for one like the fact that my car is simple enough and uses enough standardized parts that i can fix almost anything that's wrong with it myself.

@jjsk8erkid my moms 07 impalla has ha the rear defrost go out a tail light two differnt sets of tires were replaces the dash rattels and the compter chip for the remote start has fucked up twice.. thats all with in the first year of owning it.. my 76 460 thunder bird needs a power treering hoase and a sending unit in the gas tank thats all its ever needed besides some cosmetic stuff ... chevys suck
