@jack390 Flash has security issues (from Adobe's own words), and a lot of their "good stuff" like Photoshop and Premiere (Pro) are very mediocre products. There are much better ones out there. They have Mac versions, although, I wouldn't get Premiere Pro if I were on a Mac, I might as well just get Final Cut Pro, which is MUCH better.

Microsoft's Legacy began at the deal made with IBM, but they where in business for a few years before ... The Altair was their very first job. You need to research a bit more .. they had a few deals for an OS before the major IBM OS Warp then Windows.

i just bought yesterday a netbook, a HP mini. i have a mac airport and a time capsule, i have a macbook too so when i connect with my macbook to the airport at the same time it connect to the time capsule, but in the netbook i can connect to the mac airport but the time capsule doesn't appear!!!!!

Yep, definitely. Since you don't have an optical drive, please copy the Airport software into your thumb-drive & plug it to your PC then install it. You should be able to access your Time Capsule as Airport Disk. But first you must allocate a fixed capacity space for your MacBook and leave the unformated Partition to be formatted as Windows NTFS. However there is no TimeMachine for Windows so you have to get a backup app and assign it to your Airport Disk. Cheers!!

This was a year and a half ago. HDD prices were more expensive. Plus a full Airport base station costs $200 (dual band Wifi N, gigabit, USB for printer or hard drive). It's now 499 for 2tb. Very well priced imo.

Since Nokia takes it's name after the city in Finland in which the company was founded, it's pronounced like the o-sound in "enough", not like the one in "know". American/British/whatever commercials may pronounce it differently, though, I haven't heard them.

I agree with GameTalkVideos, seriously what the did Windows do to you? So we get some cool apps Mac had, so? Even if Vista is what some people call a copy of OS X with less features who gives? PC appeals mostly to gamers and businesses, a study shows. Mac's have their flashy apps and PC's have their gaming/business hardware.

PC aren't the greatest but, what is this about? COMPUTERS! I prefer Personal Computers over Macintosh. Rate this -6, but remember all we need is a COMPUTER.

It not so much that Apple is bashing on the PC as they are bashing on Windows. And compared to Mac OS X, Windows is... well, far behind. Every "new" and "cool" app that Vista has, we Mac-user have had it for years. So why spend your money on a machine that always comes in second place regarding innovation when you can get a Mac - and run both OS X and Windows? If you do a PC vs. Mac-comparison, you cannot compare the hardware - it's the battle Windows vs. OS X that is all that matters!
