I'm gonna guess you've never been to a Bears game before or after remodeling. Old Soldier Field was total dump - terrible sight lines, terrible seats, terrible amenities, and the place was falling apart. New Soldier Field is a huge improvement in every single way BUT the view from LSD (other angles are fine) which I'm sure is all you care about.
