I wonder if the creators of Duke Nukem have ever been threatened with legal action from Ted Turner over the fact that Duke Nukem has the same name as one of Captain Planet's adversaries.
That was incredible, perhaps the funniest interview I have ever seen! Great work VMTV! I have heard interviews with John St. John before but this one made me choke on my beer! Is Duke really as good in bed as he thinks he is? This show is great. If you aren't subscribed to this channel then you need to do it right away!
@indieseoul Funny you should ask, Indie. When I attended his Q&A panel, I asked him if I was any good. He laughed, but the audience kinda chuckled, mainly cause they didn't know what the hell I was talking about.
That was my lame attempt to promote the interview, and show. With only 88 views....yeah, promoting doesn't work with me.
@brak Wes was great. I've never heard of him, or played the games he voiced. It makes the interviews better when I know very little about the person/company/product. So when I ask questions, I'm asking on behalf of those viewers who know as little about the subject as I do. You learn. :)
@GrilledMonkeyFat I work in radio, so I know exactly what you mean. Unfortunately, some people I've interviewed or have heard interviewed get a little too butthurt if you're not 100% familiar with their work, or ask questions on behalf of listeners or viewers who may not know who they are. Both Wes and Jon seemed VERY friendly and down to Earth.
And you have got to check out Fallout 3 and Oblivious. Last I saw, I logged in about 200 hours in Oblivion alone. lol
@brak I don't think I've met any interviewee who got mad that I was asking basic questions like "How you got started" "What is this, what is that" type questions. For the most part, people seem to be understanding about the fact that there are some people out there who have never heard of these people, or their body of work. I try not to get personal, but at the same time, I don't want to make the interview like all other interviews they may have had.
@retromanpresents Me, neither. We got tired of doing interviews out in the hallways of the hotel, and we knew that people would be interrupting my interview with Jon St. John, so we decided to interview in our hotel room. Not having much room in there, we just took it to the bed, and he was surprisingly comfortable with it.
Granted, there is like 20 minutes of just hilarious awkwardness, so viewers are only getting half the fun. Maybe someday, we'll air the rest on the site.
I disabled ratings, so now, the people who thumb down my video actually HAVE to leave a comment, or..here's a thought: If you don't like it, turn on something else.
Besides, what does giving my videos a thumb down really accomplish? Think about that, and get back to me.
@atomicpuppet I still laugh at that. Wes was a wonderful interview. I'm so glad to have met him. Oh..I should drop him an email to let him know the episode is up.

Spelled Jon wrong there! Whoops. Forgot to mention how awesome Wes was, too. I love his work in The Elderscrolls.

Actually, it was Frankenstien Jr. who would say 'OKAY BUZZ'. Not Gigantor, even though they both share the same concept.

@Launchpad05 Ah, well, at least he got part of the intro to Gigantor correct, hehe.
