Beautiful song!!! And for those who post negative comments with bad language... well, I just feel sorry for them. This song and its real meaning is wasted on their ears.
This song is a blessing, each time i hear it tear drops from my eyes.I pray that the Lord will continue to bless and guide the Isaac's family. From,Tamara all the way in Jamaica.
Thank you for the recognition to all the special needs parents. To me, the real hero in my eye is my son, whom I admired for courage and his outstanding achievements despite his disabilities and life time challenges! This is such a beautiful song and should be a common ring tone for our cell phones.
This song is amazing. My Mom and Dad have adopted five of my seven siblings so this really does happen! Someone else's burden definitely can be a blessing in disguise. Check out my videos to meet my family(:
@EvelynK367 the song doesn't make any sense. they're saying that someone who looks after their handicapped kid is a hero - no, that's just normal responsibility that comes with having kids, you never know what you're going to get. then they say that a couple who couldn't have kids adopts one and that makes them heroes - wouldn't it make more sense if they could have kids but they adopted anyways? this couple is only adopting because they couldn't have kids the normal way.
I am writing a book, Angels Aware. I sent an email to Roy Rogers Foundation; and the director sent your song back to me and said we should put it in our book. The book is the testimony of the faithfulness of our Father God with our 30 year old daughter, Amber; and testimonies for the orphanages in Mongolia and other nations. ALL proceeds will go back into the orphanages, world-wide. Have you heard of the 5000 mercy killings before the Holocaust? It is also part of the book...email back...
I have been a fosterparent for 16 years and do not consider myself a hero,, but it's nice to be recognized , the biggest hero's are those broken souls that come to me and they mend themselves and become beautiful people who love and live life...This song is a gift to those of us who love , just Like God loves us
I have a special needs daughter. I cry every time I hear this. Does anyone know who wrote it? Thank you for posting it. - Adopted as well. What a blessing this song is!
This song makes me cry everytime I hear it. I think of how God has blessed us by calling us to not only adopt our little baby girl but also foster 14 other children. I still dont consider myself a hero!!!
Awesome!!!! The real heroes are the ones you never really regard as heroes. Such as, our moms and dads. Whether biological or adopted(parents) They are heroes nontheless.
God bless all the moms and dads of this world. They have the most challenging task in life..

Did this song win an award? If it didn't it should have. Love the Isaacs, especially their spirit , harmony and humility.
