I suppose this happens because, since sound is a pressure wave it creates different pressures through the surface where the sand is standing. Thus, the areas where the pressure is lower are where the sand is deposited. Is this right? If so, why does the sound create this particular shapes or pressure patterns? Thanks :)
Sound is made up of soundwaves. C-440hz. Hertz are frequencies. Frequencies in music can be predicted by multiplying the note (*c-440) by the 12th root of 2-1.05946... (c#-440hzx1.059....) and your octove c is 880hz. My queri is in the effect these frequencies hace on the shapes. Doesnt it look like cell devision?
