Yeah, I hated that he died too. In the other books I was hoping for a comeback, he was the only character that I would hope for a come back. Even Harry I would not have wished that much, but Sirious was friggin awesome. For one sec distracted, he got wasted, that made me a little angry, but what the hell, it's only a book isn't it. but you have to admit the writers, in that one line, conveyed the whole idea that (in canon) sirius was sort of holding onto the memory of his best friend through harry, but b/c of time constraints couldn't fit those particular conversations into the film adaptation--I actually thought it was a great way to show us that missing part of the story

I saw it that way too, it was only a few words conveying it, but some people I know say it wasn't good because it disreguarded the relationship with Sirius and Harry...but I liked the line...he was still clinging to the memory of Prongs, another thing I interpreted was also his insanity level, he never really adjusted to life without Prongs in a normal ennvirement, so Harry was so much like Prongs (James) that he switched it up, but oh well...
