That rail's deformation was caused by an overheat, not an earhquake. A picture of that is in Halliday's Principle of Physics vol.2.

The plate tectonic NOT makes the earthquakes. The moon makes the earthquakes as raising the earth crust. See more than 2500 forecasts.
