I love how Victoria isn't startled by Victor's outburst at the end. She just stands there like, "Oh, I was just so entranced that I'm not going to pretend to show emotion." Oh, well, that's just how I feel about it. LOVE that piece though!!

i'm always surprised when people say that.

Emily doesnt need Victor. She's way above him, and by the end of the movie totally her own person, after him freeing her from her previous hangups as about to what of who is required for her happiness.

Victor and Victoria on the other hand, pass perfectly by each other; both still in need to discover themselves, and nobody obviously dominating the other.

I was very glad that the movie didnt take the obvious turn for the "happy end".

for those of you disputing between if it's moonlight sonata or an original piece for the movie, i believe there are two different versions. here, it's an original piece, if you recently saw it on ABCfamily, they played moonlight sonata. so i think that for the theatrical version, they played this and for the dvd release they played moonlight sonata. don't quote me on that because i'm not entirely sure myself, i'm simply speculating on the facts that i have about each.
