Hi! Thanks! I haven't really started work on it yet as I have been working on my 5 manual roaster on which there'll be a concert later today. And there are a few things on the RJMMM which I don't fully understand so I'm hoping that other members of the EOCS might have some ideas on a future visit.
With the organist in rehearsal today on the big beast we're wondering if the final chord at 98dB is too loud! It's a sound one doesn't hear much of west of Paris and south of St Paul's cathedral!
Well clearly you're not a normal woman! It's wonderful to find someone who would not want to put such a construction in a skip! But seriously, we have moved some of the plugs around inside where there are numerous opportunities for bad contacts and a good deal more of it is playing.
A friend who is an organist in some local churches came to practice on the Big Beast the other day and tried some Bach on this. It actually sounded remarkably good, so clearly worth persevering with!
Fantastic! I would love to have an organ similar to this.
Thanks for sharing.
