Not every UHC system has long wait periods for service. Its true that some people experience this, but there are also many who don't. The same is true in the US. Ive had to wait months before getting to see a specialist. Not because of too many patients but because of too few doctors. The problem with UHC, as will be in the US, is that we have too few doctors/nurses.
