Well Inter need a playmaker and VDV is certainly that. His goals from midfield would be vital too. That's as long as the Hamburg/Euros/Ajax VDV showed up not the RM one. I'm sure Mourinho could do what he did with J.Cole/Lampard/Ibra and make VDV more consistant. Most of the play would run through him anyway which i think would suit him, as Inter seriously lack creative players. He would be the main man in midfield again with 3 DM's to support him and 2 pure strikers to feed. Risky for Inter tho

Well Inter need a playmaker and VDV is certainly that. His goals from midfield would be vital too. That's as long as the Hamburg/Euros/Ajax VDV showed up not the RM one. I'm sure Mourinho could do what he did with J.Cole/Lampard/Ibra and make VDV more consistant. Most of the play would run through him anyway which i think would suit him, as Inter seriously lack creative players. He would be the main man in midfield again with 3 DM's to support him and 2 pure strikers to feed. Risky for Inter tho

Superb player, who would be a huge coup for a side that needs an attacking upgrade in midfield.. Shouldn't be wasted on the bench or some of the interior clubs mentioned here (no names).

Van der Vaart was one of the Netherlands most promising talents unfortunately, his pace has been cut off 10% or something due to a string of injuries and then he came to HSV, but in the end he came to Madrid (I think Barca'd be a better club for him), He is going strong thoug. He needs to show he's a world class player, and maybe he's just overrated and could live up to expertations. Still a good player thoug.

Fc porto has a worldwide reputation and participates on Champions league every year also came close to advance to the semi finals wich is really good. Other then that i dont think Van der vaart would be an asset to porto . Because of the market he would barely invest not more then 10 milion euros per player .
Also Fc porto is one of the most productive clubs in the world . Porto's way is Form Sell sell sell.
So Van der vaart has already a namea an awesome reputation.

I say porto is too little for him he 's a player for the best teams in the world like , realmadrid barcelona ac milan inter etc. Porto is a good team but I think van der vaart can play for a better team also the portuguese competition is weak so it's not a big achievement to win it.

Tat's the ONLY true problem of Porto. The Portuguese league is not so competitive like the English, Italian and Spanish.
But I think it would be better for him to come to a club which wins titles every years and goes far in the Champions League and then "reborn" the interest of the major clubs like Milan, Inter, Man Utd, Chelsea, Barça...
