Commitment, the driving force behind all endeavour. You certainly have a passion for the medium and therefore I humbly withdraw my spurious comment and wish you and your colleagues every success going forward.
Thanks very much Curioustruth for your encouragement! We've learned a lot over the past 4 years and my recent trip to Cannes gave me a different perspective on the industry. So, yes, I will indeed move forward, ta:)
Thanks for your franknes;) Every film maker knows he or she is not going to please everyone - that's just not realistic. All I know is that we had fun making it and had a rapturous applause when it screened in front of about 80 people. Regarding the 10 minutes of your life - that's the chance you take when you watch any entertainment. Period. I'm intregued to know what you do like.
ooooops, I don't know what happened there. I removed a duplicate message of mine and your comment was removed too. If you'd like to put it back on please do so.
Thanks for taking the time to comment on my film. I admit it could have been better if we'd had more time to develop the script and had rehearsals. That's a lesson learned and when we actually have money to do that I'll do so. When you have no budget (zero GBP) but a willing team to get something done you just 'ging and dee it' when you've got the inspiration and audacity. And for every person who doesn't like something there's probably one that absolutely loves it. Life is in perfect balance.
Hi Fiona, I won't be posting any more for a while as I want to submit films to film festivals and some of them require that they haven't been shown on the Internet. unfortunately.
@fionakearneyart I've just uploaded my latest Gaelic film (it's got subtitles!) if you're interested. Below the film there's a link to the FilmG site where you may want to vote for it. Ta :)
