She falls down on the floor and there is a scene how the statue of Venus breaks into pieces ... after that he opens his eyes and realises that that was a dream - everything after the accident was only in his imagination. Helena was actually hit by a car, but shte was taken into a hospital ... ALL of her, with just a broken leg, I think. That`s it.

Horrible scene from "Boxing Helena" but at the end, the audience learns it was just a bad dream. Remember when he stands in front of the armless statue of Venus de Milo? This movie is an allusion to the bad dreams some of us may have, maybe not as gruesome as chopping someone's limbs off but dreams or nightmares where something bad happens and when we wake up sweating and with a rapid hearbeat, we say: "Thank God it was just a dream;" then we appreciate life and freedom much more.
