95% of kids would have a mental breakdown if "Miley Cyrus" was about to jump out of moving helicopter, Copy and paste this into 2 videos if your one of the 5% yelling ' jump bitch!' I'd get a good seat and some popcorn. =P
I've wondered, and i think its very probable that i could be right on this...it seems, as tragically hip is canadian and all, and we are closest to the global warming issue...this song, especially combined with the music vid, seems to reflect the impact of global warming on the polar bears, and that they are running out of ice and will soon live on the land much more, and eventually die off...it's rather sad to think about, their magnificient creatures, hope it never comes to that...
The northern cap is said to be shrinking but southern growing more than double. So, it begs the question, where is Al Gore? I live in GA USA and has snow last week. Al, buy a fuckin' hat. For those who don't know, 1 of his houses, south of nashville - gas driveway lamps - $1000 / mo.
Love Thip - fan since album 1. But like REM, once Samson loses the hair, goes the skills. Whattup?

and the polar bear represents how eliminating the polar caps effects us, and no matter how much we try to avoid it, we cant escape it

He's talking to the water... a metaphor for a relationship. He's explaining that while it has power over him, it's still just a small body of water - It's not the Ocean. It's about standing up for yourself as in the case of a relationship. The song's persona has been pushed around. But he is still just talking to the water. It's not clear or not whether he has had said this to the person. - Ryan of the RSL Weblog

SCKB76: Tell your friend that you won't be his friend anymore unless he hooks you up w/ tickets and backstage passes and stuff...dude you really have to take advantage of this situation..haha. Seriously though, it would be sweet to meet ole Gord.
