I've only watched Most Haunted a few times & I can honestly say that it's utter rubbish. The Derek Acorah is a fraud, the presenter is a nut case & the other investigators shit themselves at the slightest gust of wind. I can't watch this show. I've watched all of the Ghost Adventures episodes & I can't get enough. It's a shame we don't have a legitimate ghost hunting show in England.
The only thing conclusive proof here is that the most haunted team are a bunch of fucking fake nob ends! I suspected that her and her husband-the very arrogant carl fielding were up to this kind of chicanery. They have made millions of pounds from tricking people like this and they then have the nerve to make shows on living tv demonstrating how wealthy they are, buying each other porches and horses etc. It is absolutely obnoxious behaviour and the Tv companies should sue them to pay back the money they have accumulated through deceipt and greed- thank God most haunted is finally over.
@anamcara444 If they want to make a lot of money by pretending ghosts are real, then no. No-one has the right to take it from them. In the eyes of the law, ghosts are EXACTLY the same as Santa Claus and the Easter Bunny, and rightly so. There is the same amount of evidence for all three - none. Believers need to stop trying to police what is said and reported about the paranormal. It doesn't belong to you. It belongs to the entertainers who made it all up in the first place.
The point I was making is they are using chichanery and deceit to con people and that is morally wrong. As adults we know the easter bunny and santa Claus are not real but we only preserve these fantasies for the enjoyment of children this is not what I consider immoral. The most haunted team are using deceit to claim that their phenomena is real I would suggest mainly to make money not to provide joy and entertainment.

The people that watch these shows want REAL evidence not just a scary show. The fact that even SOME paranormnal TV shows have a disclaimer is a huge concession to the paranormal community and should be seen as a favour. I've been on investigations with several groups, and they are always the same: attributing everything to ghosts and ignoring any suggestions for ways to debunk things.

Making a big deal out of possible phenomena is human nature. But this is not the same as DELIBERATELY faking events. I'm not particularly bothered about such TV shows and their ratings I'm bothered about the integrety of the people involved otherwise the whole thing is a waste of time. @kafcj so do ghosts never come out in daylight? Do they only come out in poorly lit ruins in the dead of night? They always occur on this show so why not find them in daylight with multiple witnesses (not paid by the show), scientists (in real fields of science) and maybe a team from the james randi foundation that knows of magicians trickery?

Honestly, I don't know why anyone would waste their time trying to watch this show. Not only is it completely fake, but it is incredibly boring as well. I used to watch this show, but after a few episodes, I just started falling asleep on them. If you have any interest in the paranormal or just like watching ghost shows, I would recommend a show like Ghost Hunters, Ghost Adventures, or Ghost Lab. They're better overall and, most of all, they aren't fake!

Why would any ghost investigating team have a need to film their people in night vision mode? Why do these shows always film in the dark? I've only watched Most Haunted a few times & I can honestly say that it's utter rubbish. The Derek Acorah is a fraud, the presenter is a nut case & the other investigators shit themselves at the slightest gust of wind. I can't watch this show. I've watched all of the Ghost Adventures episodes & I can't get enough. It's a shame we don't have a legitimate ghost hunting show in England.

I suspected that her and her husband-the very arrogant carl fielding were up to this kind of chicanery. They have made millions of pounds from tricking people like this and they then have the nerve to make shows on living tv demonstrating how wealthy they are, buying each other porches and horses etc. It is absolutely obnoxious behaviour and the Tv companies should sue them to pay back the money they have accumulated through deceipt and greed- thank God most haunted is finally over.

In the eyes of the law, ghosts are EXACTLY the same as Santa Claus and the Easter Bunny, and rightly so. There is the same amount of evidence for all three - none. Believers need to stop trying to police what is said and reported about the paranormal. It doesn't belong to you. It belongs to the entertainers who made it all up in the first place.

The point I was making is they are using chichanery and deceit to con people and that is morally wrong. As adults we know the easter bunny and santa Claus are not real but we only preserve these fantasies for the enjoyment of children this is not what I consider immoral. The most haunted team are using deceit to claim that their phenomena is real I would suggest mainly to make money not to provide joy and entertainment.

We know they have no right to complain. We know they are wrong to believe in Santa. Now you just need to realise, that peoples belief in ghosts is the SAME thing. It seems that your saying that it is ok to con and trick viewers into believing phenomena that is fake. almost treating people with contempt. The people that watch these shows want REAL evidence not just a scary show. There are objective genuine paranormal investigations which I'm happy to watch and use my own discretion about want is true but most haunted deliberately use cons and that I feel is morally wrong.

Yes, telling people that ghosts, aliens, Santa etc are real is absolutely fine. What about all the people who get exposed to Christian TV programmes on Sunday mornings? Where are the complaints about presenting a false god as real? Maybe Thor is the only true god, so TV should present THAT as the one true reality

To pull a fake paranormal TV show for "descrediting REAL paranormal investigators" is as ludicrous as pulling Lord Of the Rings for showing Orcs in a bad light. If you think ghosts are real, and you want to run around spooky places at night looking for "evidence" like orbs, then you must find your own way around any obstacles you face. The fact that even SOME paranormnal TV shows have a disclaimer is a huge concession to the paranormal community and should be seen as a favour. A TV show following people doing "research" does not become fraud just because those people are less than honest. Is the news being fraudulent, when they show a polititian making a speech full of lies?

@paranormalLIARS I agree it does not become real in the eyes of the law but the point I have tried to make is that it is still deceipt to knowingly fake phenomena to convince people who are watching and hoping to see real evidence,, if investigators are searching in an honest, objective way then it is a REAL investigation. If investigators are faking evidence then it's not real- there is a MORAL difference wether you believe it or not. And yes if polititions use lies, they are fraudulent.

@anamcara444 Truth is not on TV. The sooner they learn that the better. You can't tell them, though. They have to eventually find out for themselves. Or not. Paranormal "investigators" will NOT dictate what TV shows we can make. Most haunted is actually a VERY realistic depiction of what happens on paranormal investigations. I've been on investigations with several groups, and they are always the same: attributing everything to ghosts and ignoring any suggestions for ways to debunk things.

If you read the forums about it you'll find that thousands of people are irritated by its obvious chicanery. It has a history and reputation that has completely discredited it has a genuine investigation. My argument has never been about dictating what is shown, it has been about giving respect to the viewers who want a genuine show- which I feel most probably do.

I assure you, TV stations do A LOT of research into what people want to see, since it's how they make their money. If there were enough people who wanted to see an hour of absolutely nothing happening, they would have made the show already. I suppose they could fill the last five minutes showing their pictures of "orbs" and pretending they are spirits.

As I've said people want a genuine show not to be conned or played with even if it is slow moving. I have been on investigations myself and I can assure you things DO happen . The forums reflect the viewers dissatisfaction of such fakery so TV companies should listen very carefully- probably the reason they pulled Most Haunted.

Especially one that relies on being "genuine". Ghost hunters is suffering falling ratings, and they DO make a big deal out of nothing. Making a big deal out of possible phenomena is human nature. But this is not the same as DELIBERATELY faking events. I'm not particularly bothered about such TV shows and their ratings I'm bothered about the integrety of the people involved otherwise the whole thing is a waste of time. I don't think you can justify deluding people with deceipt and fakery because it provides better ratings. It is disrespectful and shows contempt to viewers.- Read all the negativity about it in the forums.

A few hardcore paranormal nuts have no business telling the rest of us what should and should not be portrayed about the paranormal on TV. The history of the paranormal IS a history of faking. There is no hard proof for anything paranormal, but there is a lot of hard proof when it comes to the known fakes.

(Though you still have no right to do anything but refrain from watching) These TV shows are doing you all a favour. Now people will need a LOT more convincing. I hope this forces you to stop calling the spots of light that occur when the light source is close to the lens, "orbs". The real science will be VERY boring, and not broadcastable.

what planet are you on we go in2 the worlds most haunted places in the world!! some of the most busiest evil places that are very active, living wanted us to put fakery in the show and then reveal at the end but we refused as we are a factual show and thats why we pick most haunted locations and not some random place. if u dont like dont watch!! leave each to their own!! have you realy got nothing better to do than to try and blot others success?? thats very sad!!!

@kafcj so do ghosts never come out in daylight? Do they only come out in poorly lit ruins in the dead of night? They always occur on this show so why not find them in daylight with multiple witnesses (not paid by the show), scientists (in real fields of science) and maybe a team from the james randi foundation that knows of magicians trickery?

Honestly, I don't know why anyone would waste their time trying to watch this show. Not only is it completely fake, but it is incredibly boring as well. I used to watch this show, but after a few episodes, I just started falling asleep on them. If you have any interest in the paranormal or just like watching ghost shows, I would recommend a show like Ghost Hunters, Ghost Adventures, or Ghost Lab. They're better overall and, most of all, they aren't fake!

Why would any ghost investigating team have a need to film their people in night vision mode? Why do these shows always film in the dark? If ghosts were real, surely having lights on would not make any difference.

In all of the nine years mst haunted has been on, that is the only decent evidence?? for all you know it could have been edited, there is no other upload of this "fakery" on youtube.

Every episode they encounter something. Professional paranormal investigators would jizz at the thought of this actually happening in the real world. The show would blow if you just sat there listening to the hum of the camera motor. Someones got to throw some BS in to keep the ratings up. Another douche...Paranormal State guy. He seems to take Satan on in every episode...and wins. TAPS...they got a bit more credibility. They "seem" to keep it real. Who knows. Ghosts everywhere are laughing.

They aren't hiding it well, they have nothing to hide, there is NO concrete visual evidence that proves they have actually descovered paranormal activity, only what they see themselves.

Good editing there mate, notice the bright white 'flash' just before and after the alleged "fake" bit.. hmmmmm I suspect a few scenes have been put together here lol. I don't believe all of Most Haunted is real, it's for entertainment.. but I have to say this is even more dodgy mate lol.

Yep just as I thought, this is a few different clips put together. I've just seen original footage and the bit where yvette says "did you get that" is actually about a whistle that they were asking to "copy me". The bit where Stuart falls over and all the pans clang is much later on. Nice try mate :-)

i knew something was fishy with most haunted, because they would never film anyones feet or legs hardly i noticed. every time they would sit at a table, i would ask why dont they film the table legs too. its a scam show, great for entertainment but thats it, entertainment. one of these days they will run across a real ghost unexpectedly that will scare the crap out of them.and the guy pretending to be possesed, thats hilarious to watch. great acting, lol.
