  • That H thing is used in construction. It for puting roofing ply wood together.. cool video.

  • dirt can be VERY NAST IF on a knife as matter of fact, during my first month into metal detecting I didn't wear gloves and remember cutting my thumb on an old pair of scissors when I jammed my hand into the ground. a week later my cut got infected and I had to get a special cream from the doctor to kill off the bacteria and I still have an ugly scar from the infection. From then on I wore thick leather gloves whenever I went digging!!!

  • man i hear ya.... i made the same rookie mistake too. i cut my finger on a piece of rusted metal and the cut stayed open for 10 days because of all the local infection.. no 1 reason i showed that knife in the film. everyone needs to think safe and have fun..

  • Well hun love to see you come home after you hunts and show me what you got..One day you are to hit it big....

  • yes i think i will dont know what? but you will be the first to see it and tape it.

  • Nice quality video!

  • thanks you walleye148 i try ....

  • great videos scorpio thanks! good advice as well using the probe, scoop first before just using your hands in the hole! (knife, razor blades, needle) oh that first item you picked up the star wars thing, lol i think that may be a roof clip when you sheet the top of a house roof you put that clip(multiple ones) on a sheet of 1/2" panel then the next sheet up the roof pitch locks into these clips(more support) JMO CHEERS

  • your welcome and your the second person to remark about that ... nice to get conformation.. i was digging up that knife and i all most put my hand in and pulled it out ... but i fallowed my advice and probed and scooped first.

  • Great little video! congrat on the little knife and all your finds.

  • thanks it was a neat find . allways love the odd stuff..lol but what does hd? stand for?

  • hd = high definition? just a guess might mean something else in this context :D

  • lol thats what my girl friend said too just after i commented and i look and thought dam that was dumb to type from me?

  • High Definition ,

  • Nice of you to take the time to take us along on your hunt!

  • hey thanks! i love to show and tell when it comes to prospecting or metal detecting.. you just dont know what your going to get till you unearth it!

  • Nice short hunt! That big old tree in the background sure looked tempting. Did you hit around it yet? I'm a sucker for the 100+ year old trees. lol. Because my uncle found a jar of old coins at the base of a big old tree, MD'ing in the 70's. I guess that's why I'm stuck on them lol.

  • yes i did look around that tree , and i am with you on checking in areas like the but it only turned up 2 cents. darn it. i had a little problem with the over head high voltage power lines . it was just ringing in my ear and i think the detector didnt like it too?

  • The Star WARS looking peice is an aluminum clip that framers put on a peice of plywood or OSB in between the rafters to connect the rows of plywood as they come up to the ridge.
