It's really true. LSDj is great BECAUSE it opens you up to a world of ability in your familiar toys that composers for games wouldn't have dreamed of. Yes, it's an awesome musical tool but it also teaches you incredible things about something you thought you had all figured out as a kid. That's the fun in all chiptune, really.
