the first song i had hear from them was 2005 - Saishuu Ressha, i had forget them 6 years until i had that song in my head and had sing it , now i have 15 songs from them on my mp3 player , in 2005 i had love this song saishuu ressha ahh i like his j-rock musik , sorry for my english i'm from germany löl well i love their old and new musik its fantasic
@FairySunny Saushuu Ressha was the first for me as well what I heard from them :-) They have a lot of great songs, for example Gergera (especially live), Anjelier or Fukuro no yurikago

@JapaneseModernist Their lyrics were never like that and never will be, don't assume what the lyrics are without knowing them, and they were never about feeling lonely or sad, I doubt you even know any of their song's lyrics to be saying that stuff
@TMRHTCT03 Do you even know other albums by MUCC? Most of their lyrics are extremely dark. some are pessimist others are optimistic. Zetsubou for example is about suicide and pessimist. Other songs like Ware, arubeki basho are about loneliness but in a optimistic way. The whole Kuchiki no Tou album is extremely dark and was written in a very sad period in Miya's life and reflects that. The whole album is about bad feelings and dark thoughs and how to overcome them.
@JapaneseModernist Imo Knt was their worst album ever, it's so dark, they moved on with Houyoku and i'm thankful they overcame those problems and moved on to make great positive music, i don't wan't emo music about death and loneliess
@GazettErock100 Music that is positive, They don't make their music to please depressed emo teenagers, they make music based on what's going on in their lives, not their fans lives, and I'm glad they do
@TMRHTCT03 One of my favorite are the lyrics of kuchiki no tou which seem to be about regret, repemt. Or maybe someone regretting the bad things they did while they lay dying. I think the "tower" are all the "sins" the person has commited that he/she cannot erase. he/she asks for forgiveness but know he/she won't be because he/she doesn't deserve. It is really deep and inspiring. Makes you want to be a better person yourself

@JapaneseModernist it's just one song, all of their lyrics have different things, early demo-tape era was mostly love songs, Homura Uta, Zekuu had very different themes with the lyrics, Kuchiki no tou was mostly about redemption and stuff, my point is, their lyrics always had a lot of themes, check the lyrics for any new song and for any old song, and you will see that they are the same as before, you really can't judge their lyrics by knowing only translations of a few songs
