Thats not the Waimakariri River. It might be the Cust, the Eyre or some other small tributary, but that channel you see is not the Waimakariri River itself.

it took me and shane stewart 4wd recovery 2 more days to get it out  as it floated 200m downstream that nite and the river was still raging im dvs4x4 lol it was really quite fucked roof was all caved in all paint was smashed off it but with a good rebuild and new cab should come back from the dead
