Thanks... The engine is a JDM B16 but I put the Civic Type R pistons and cams in it. Head is ported and polished. It also has an AEM intake and custom exhaust. I put a Quaife LSD to improve corner tracking as well. I went back to that road this year, but in an Odyssey so not as much fun..
Thanks, I have Neuspeed race springs, KYB adjustable shocks, urethane bushings, SPC camber kits for the front and rear, Neuspeed rear swaybar, and Neuspeed upper tie bars. I did string alignment after installing everything, but noticed a huge improvement in handling when I adjusted the camber. It took a little time to get the front and rear balanced.

I GOT TO RIDE IN A T-REX WHILE I WAS UP THERE, PULLED OUT OF T.W.O, SIDEWAYZ AZ HELL, WENT THROUGH ALL THOSE TURNZ, ABOUT 90+MPH, SOOOO MUCH FUN!!! I would love to drive a T-Rex up there!! I would love to drive something like a K20a EK, H22a EK, K20 CRX, GSR Integra, etc!!!! But yeah, suches iz great, stayed in a log cabin for a week, WONDERFUL PLACE!!! HIGHLY RECOMENDED!!!
Good video, the crx has got to be one of the funnest cars for the mountain considering its FWD, with the right engine such as my favorite the B16, there is no better sports car for the price, some of these when modded right can beat lambos and anything else
Thanks. There are a few mods I added that affect the sound. I added them at separate times. In order of impact:
1. Custom exhaust (Edelbrock muffler, resonator, high flow cat)
2. AEM intake
3. CTR cams and pistons. The cams really improved the sound.
I have a number of other mods, but those are the main affecting sound. The set up is nice because when not in vtec it is pretty quiet. You can hear the difference at the end when I am behind the motorcycles.
i took my crx for hil run it scared the shit out of me the car is tail happpy i though i was driving a dritt car its totally different from mk1 since crx tail is light so not enough tracction i can drfit just apply a light brake on mk1 so i m putting my b20 and b16 on my mk1 makes a fun car to run on mountain still lot of wok on the front
i ended up pulling a del sol on a car dolly on that road once, i started around midnight and most of the vehicles that i saw were motorcycles that were just streakes of light. i'd love to be on that road without a trailer!
It is difficult to find roads this good in America as well.

Last I heard the law was starting to crack down a little on this road. I am now in Japan and there are many good winding roads, unfortunately I do not have my car here. I am driving a K car. Anyway it can be fun to drive a slow car fast...
Thanks. It took me long enough to get it posted. I got an apple and that is what made it possible. It has been a while since I watched this @ 4:20 you can see two people hugging. They went down on a motorcycle just before I passed them.

I drove this for the 10th time today
I got lucky..hardly any traffic(except for the bikes) and NO COPS...that was the first time I've been able to open my car up there

It is a great road. Only problem is the amount of traffic. This run was later in the evening. That helped with the traffic.
