@STRK3R Most red dots are reflex sights the way it works is when the laser is projected from the inside of the scope it reflects off of the lens in front therefore bouncing back to your eye ;)

Battery life lasts pretty long you could probably new batteries at your local pharmacy. It comes with two and the only reason I had to change mine was because I accidently left it on and drained the first battery.

Yes, it has 5 different brightness settings and the highest one can be seen relatively easily during daylight hours.

Its a picatinny or as i prefer to say it RIS. If you look at the reveiws on Amazon a few people talk about mounting it on their G36c's which are as far as I know always picatinny rails.
