I am not sure about these two versions, but I have listening little variations of this. Can you send me one link where I can listening other one? It is possible that I have played the easier version. Thanks for your comment.
i like this version too but there is also another one, that goes higher more often instead of repeating the parts like in this verison. maybe you know more about the fact which one is vivaldis one....i really wonder because thisverion sounds very much different,
hey man keep it up. just keep practicing and you will get there. this isnt bad at all. I've been playing for 11 years now and i still remember how tough it was started for the first time
Not bad for a beginner. Maybe you should have chosen to play something less challenging... that's just my opinion. By the way, I tried playing the violin - and failed miserably. I didn't have the patience to get used to holdng it and my hand hurt so much!!
Animos!!!!
you think this is good? from 1 to 10 i rate it 5 or 6. sorry but is not perfect. i know you start to play violin late, is good you play it, i play it too, but you have to make a little diffrents... I PLAY IT TOO AND MY RATE IS 2!!! SO DON T THINK U ARE BAD!!!
Also if you can get your 3rd finger more upright and hover above the string ready to play your LH Fingers will operate a lot faster as that finger has less of a distance to cover . This indeed will also help with your slow co ordination between the bow and LH fingers 3 and 4.
Padiaz If you halt the video on 4th note , you can see that you are coming in at an angle with your 3rd finger . Push your Left elbow forward and lift the LH slightly to allo the 3rd finger to drop onto the string virtically on its tip . The ist joint on that finger works strongest when it is above the finger tip .Also playing on the tip of the finger produces a cleaner sound because there is simpley less flesh in contact with the string .
is this bad quality? because you REALLY should improve playing and decorate your play with vibratos or sth. (okay, vibs are not usual by playing vivaldi) and some tones are missing or worng.. but all in all.. with a little more study, it will be okay
I'm learning this song right now, a tip however this might seem a littlebit odd, is to take a few steps back of move the stand a bit forward... in any case, you should try to create more distance between you and the music, another thing is try to raise the violin a bit so that the scroll practically is on the level of your nose, this will help you to improve on your bowing, keep opening that elbow! how long have you been playing and are you taking lessons? keep up the good work!
I am an amateur like you but to my opinion you should make some exercises to relax your left hand and improve your position. Sometimes the fingers are really far from the violin --> so it takes more time to attack the notes.
Also work your attack with the right hand - a little more wide movement i think.
Regarding relaxation, you only have to be aware that u have to relax your muscles and in order to do that you have to stop thinking about the song (know it by memory) and concentrate on your posture and the smoothness of your movements. Anyways, you play pretty good!! keep on practicing :D
If I could relax while playing, I could be an average violinist. My main blight and lack today is my sound, generated by my right arm and I am working on it. I have two or three studies who I can't play here because they must be improved, like Allegro by Fiocco...
Hey pandiaz, it's great that you're practicing this song too. I had it as an exam last monday and it was awful because I couldn't play my best (i had the flu :S) but the teacher knew i worked hard anyways...
About stoping the bow after each note, my teacher tells me that it is marcato, and this particular song requires marcato in some parts of it...
I learned that (marcato) a few months ago. Now, I am using it when play my new exam work: Vivaldi Violin Concert in A minor. I will take my exam in June. I will play this work here if I play it well.
Practice your bow technique because you stop your bow after each note you play. Try to make it continuous so that the music flows by freeing up your bow hand. I understand baroque music is very repetitive and has lots of eighth notes but it still has to sound connected. p.s. if you're playing the baroque style, don't use vibrato because vibrato was never invented back then..
I play violin and make these videos for all comments that you and other put here. I try to improve reading these comments and advices that can help me sometimes. Thanks.
hey hows it going i am a violin player and i just wanted to kno how can i be more relax when i play i find i play with so much tension that my fingers start to actually hert u give great advise .i tooo sometimes stop the bow at each note what can i do to stop that
very good, but you have to use more expresions, like 1:14 you 2 times the same notes, the first time you have them play them really loud, and the second time really quiet. That's a typical thing that Vivaldi always do, first loud then quiet.
I'm agree with you, I know that. My teacher tell me that many times, but unafortunately while I'm reading I am too concentrated and careless all of it could improve my perform.
I think this is good. As a violin player myself ((and I can't believe I'm agreeing with my teacher )) all I can say is to just continuously practice. Because it will get better with time, and you'll be more comfortable playing it.
Did I get this right? You started playing the violin only 6 months before this video?? Wow, you did a fantastic job!! I play the violin myself ... But if you really wanna learn the vibrato I would recommend a teacher to you because you can really do a lot wrong. But keep on going, don't give up. Don't let those unfriendly comments get close to you! Always believe in yourself! Good luck
No, I didn't. I began to study violin in 2002. My progress is slow and poor, but I like to play and tu study still with a teacher for all this 5 years. My right arm is too rigid yet to learn vibrato. Thanks.
I want to improve and play vibrato, but nobody learned to me. Some friends put videos about vibrato and I will try it, but by now, I have no teacher and It is difficult to me to progress, but I am still studying. Thanks.
Bravo.
That's not really very nice, for all you know he might have started only six months ago, in which case he's progressed very well indeed. If he's been playing since childhood then I would agree with you, one would expect more by now, but we just don't know his circumstances
You are not a very nice person to have said this . Playing the violin is a great leveller and we all have to be very humble to play the violin well . So please get off your high horse
I typed the score on my computer. This score has violin and piano accompaniament. I turn off violin in the computer and let to play the piano. This program is Encore program. I start the programa and play simultaneously.
Are all of the sounds generated by just you and the violin or is there a track playing. I would like to know becoue thats facinating it almost sounds like two instruments
I only try to learn and enjoy with music. If in addition, I would can like to others, I will be happy and send my gratefulness to all of you. Thank you.
It is the meaning my friend, beside that you are doing it very well. Once againg Bravoooooo from my view point ssssssssss y al que no le guste que no mire

I think you can improve by opening your left palm out a little. You will see some problems when you start to do vibrato.
