  • 洪水が落ち着いたら、いつか日本に来て、歌ってください。

    美しく、優しい、タイの歌姫へ。

  • This is a great song that really comes alive in this video and shows the beauty and grace of Thai people and Thai culture. Thanks Udonthani3750 for uploading all these amazing songs by this wonderful artist.

  • @99Tukkae, thank you for your very kind comment. I was fortunate to see Tai perform live in Newmarket, Canada last November. She is a very beautiful lady.

  • had this song wake me up every morning in udon beautiful singer i love esan best place in the world hence why i married an esan dancer

  • @conrad5681, thanks for the comment on the song and video. Congratulations on your marriage.

  • Thanks for the upload. Beautiful video. The title is somewhat mistranslated though. Jeep Laeow bor khor is more like, "You courted me but then didn't ask me [for my hand in marriage]" Somewhat of a long title haha but that's what it means ^_^ Thanks again!

  • @yaohonisgood, thanks so much for the comment and for the correction of the song title. I have edited it now. I agree, this is a very beautiful video in all aspects.

  • @Udonthani3750 You're welcome :)

  • Im jealous their hands are so bendy.

  • @GaonaVang, thanks. It cannot be easy to do that, I certainly can't.

  • @charoensup46, thanks. I agree.

  • just love her songs., thanks for the upload , is been 4 years since I last visit Thailand,Kid terng MuagThai maak maak .

  • @Tongron, thanks for the comment. It is time for you to return for a visit, or a long stay. Four years is too long a time to be away from Thailand. I met Tai Oratai two days ago at a concert in Newmarket, Canada. She is an elegant and graceful lady, and very, very beautiful.

  • @udonthani3750 sorry i know both National Parks very well. This is not Pha taem NP cause i spend month there between rocks searching for special species of Rock Geckos. This must be Phu Pha Toeb NP. If you search by gooole pictures you will find the identical Rock formations. Best regards

  • @gongylus, thanks for the correction. Pha Taem, by the way, is in Ubon Province not far from Menam Song Si and Saam Paan Bot. It contains many ancient writings on petroglyphs, and scenery like this. Thailand has so much beautiful scenery.

  • This video is made in a National Park very close to Mukdahan.

    Nice place.

  • @gongylus, I know the Park in Mukdahan that you mean; however, it is not that one. The video was filmed at Phra Taem National Park in Ubon Province. I visited there last year.

  • This is made in a National Park close to Mukdahan.

    Nice Place !

  • beautiful tai and famous too

  • @tphetlakhone123, yes Tai is both famous and very beautiful, and so talented too. Thanks Toni.

  • I LOVE Tai and the outfits are amazing.. Where can I get gorgeous traditional outfits? I have many but unsewed..:-(

  • @88OneS, thanks for your perceptive comment. Well, I have heard that the best place to purchase these clothes is in Chiang Mai but I would think that any market in a city like Khorat, Udonthani, Khon Kaen and so on would have these styles.

  • simply......amazing!!! 555

  • @booboorhymes, yes, you are right. 55555 Last year I went to the park where this song was recorded. It is in Ubon Province.

  • i didn't know she was the one who sang this song, now that i know. i luv her even more.

  • @nyes2k , thanks for the comment. This is a great song by a great performer.

I love ubol I miss ubol a lot. love you tai.

  • Thanks ToniDoll for your emotional opinion about Tai and her music. I think most people will agree with you too. Tai is an excellent singer and dancer, and this is a good song that displays her skills. This is such a nice song that it does bring a smile to one's face. I like the fact that it was filmed In Ubon Ratchathani Province too. This is Tai's home, Ubol, and Isaan, and she is proud of her heritege just like you.

  • true Laos song

  • Yes, it is great that a Laos song can become popular like this. Prior to the 1990s or so, this would not have happened.

There is a new cd by Tai, and her new vcd was just released last week, so look forward to more great entertainment from her.

  • I added a lot of songs from Tai Oratai to my youtube music playlists. Thank you so much for the chance. By any standards it is really genius music. I know that reggae music chants down Babylon, but this destroys the devils as well! The shapes of the rocks in this video are significant. It seems they can't be explained by erosion.

  • Great comments! I visited this area. It was all submerged under the sea aeons ago. Some parts of near this area are exposed during the dry season, but become submerged again in the rainy season. I will send you a video of that.

  • Have a very good trip!

  • Thanks...I will when I go in mid-August. Last summer, I went to this place in the video, and did a two-hour hike. It was fascinating.

  • I love this music. I used to live out side Ubon Ratchathani, at Bahn Nong Geh on the way to Yasothorn.

  • Thanks for your comment. Like you, I love this music, and last summer went to this area, outside Ubon, just because I liked the album by Tai so much.

I passed through Yaso on the way to Ubon from Khon Kaen, and will stop the next time I go (summer 2010)

  • Thank you Udonthani3750 for up load this vcd. I must say that of all the lum she sing---she sing this song the best. may be because I'm a Lao/Tai Phuoan and I'm partial to this type of lum.

  • Thank you very much for your nice comment, it is appreciated. Tai really does sing this song well. It is one of my favourites.

  • This is absolutely fantastic Udonthanie3750 that Ms. Tai Oratai decided to sing a Lao/Tai Phuoan's lum that has not been very broadly emphasized about the ethnic consciousness in Thai society. She is an undoubtedly courageous singer with a multiculturally conscious mind-set that loves to promote and also appreciate the cultural differences. I love you Tai and give you so much credits.

  • This is an excellent song, one of the best. I agree that Tai Oratai has shown courage, undertanding and sensitivity to sing the Phuoan lum. I wish her all the best in the future. Tai is a rare individual and performer, and we are fortunate to be able to hear and see her. Happy New Year to you !

  • Simone de la Loubère a french voyager came to Ayuthaya in 17 th centuary

wrote about the Siamsese Character : They dont be trusted . Ils ne sont pas confiés

  • The French proved that they could hardly be trusted either whether in Europe, Asia, Africa and North America.

  • Lao people in Xiang Khouang are called Lao Phouan. I believe there are some Lao Phouan communities in Nonkhai and Udon. Who migrated from Xiang Khouang decades ago (if not centuries).

  • Now that is interesting too. I must check that out next time that I am in Udon.

I remember when I was near Kalasin a few years ago, one of the workers I met at a hospital referred to themselves as Lao Phu, 'Lao of the hills and mountains'

  • You'r welcome Udonthani3750. Every Lum has a name such as: ລຳລ່ອງຂອງ, ລຳຜູ່ໄທ, ລຳຄອນສວັນ, ລຳຕັ່ງຫວາຍ, ລຳສິພັນດອນ, ລຳພວນ, ຂັບງື່ມ, ລຳສາຣະວັນ, ຂັບທຸ້ມຫຼວງພຮະບາງ.... Every Lum is typical for that region.

  • Again, thanks for providing me with the information. I did not know that. This means that every region has a unique and distinct culture.

  • This is Lum Phouan typical for Xieng Khouang people. ລຳພວນນີ້ ແມ່ນ ຂອງ ພີ່ນ້ອງລາວ ຊຽງຂວາງ. Even Laos is a relative small country but very rich culture. Lao in Laos and PhiNong Isan are the same in the past. I am very proud of our culture.

I am Tai longtime fan since ดอกหญ้า ใน ป่า ปูน. But never saw her sing Lum until I came across your upload. Thanks.

  • Thanks so much for the information about Lum Phouan and Xieng Khouang people, it is much appreciated. I am glad you are proud of your culture, as you say the culture of Laos is very rich and most interesting.

I hope Tai will perform more morlam (lum) in her videos as I really like it, and I love this particular song by her. I can listen to, and watch, Tai all day long!

  • Dear Khun UdonThani,

It's a pleasure to find here the music of Tai orathai.

For me, it's change of the northern music, I appreciate very much the MorLam music

  • Thanks for the nice comment. Morlam is lots of fun and very enjoyable. Tai is excellent.

I lived in Chiang Mai for over three years, and like the Lanna culture too.

  • ToniDoll, I always appreciate your comments, they are so interesting to me. I like the dress and jewelry that the ladies wear. Tai is an excellent dancer, isn't she? Again, this looks like Phu Phrabat National park to me. The rock formation is so unique and unlike anything in Canada.

  • tai she so beautyfull very good song thank you for you upload the song for me I love it, every body look so beauty,

  • awesome video & song, thanks for sharing

  • Thanks for your comments, which are much appreciated. The scenery, dance and song are outstanding.
