Do the glitch to get to the secret chest underneath Whiterun > There's always over 1k gold inside, take that and all of the weapons and apparel > sell it > then you wont have to worry about how much it costs! (I got 6k gold in 5 mins with it!)

What you should do is make the iron daggers, go up to dragonsreach and enchant them. This makes them alot more expensive. And sell them back to get even more money for more iron ingots and leather strips. SOLVED :D

Don't do this to level 100 straight away. Do it gradually. I'd say level up 3 levels in smithing every time you level up.

One more tip if you are selling the daggers: sell them to a vendor untill he/she has no more gold, save the game, kill the vendor, reload previous save: he/she will now be restocked with gold (and have all new materials).

If you read this, take note: DON'T SELL THE DAGGERS. Keep all of them. Find a 'Banish' spell (disenchant a banish weapon). Enchant a dagger with Banish (with a petty soul gem). It is worth 700 to 2000 gold (value diminishes after you sell a lot of them). Do this with all your daggers and you have leveled enchanting and smithing to 100 and you will earn about 50.000 gold.

i once got 62 from Lod in falkreath. went from 28 to 100 in about 2 hours just going between whiterun, markarth, falkreath buying all the ingot and ore, smithing and repeating. Dragon Plate armor is sick. gained 6 levels too.

You can do this with leather bracers to, its more cost effective, and it gives the same XP, I went from around lvl. 15 to lvl. probable 100, I'm not done getting to lvl 100 yet, in one day.

I got to 90 smithing using this method and made myself the following items: A Full set of Daedric armor, A Daedric shield, a Daedric Bow, Dagger, Sword and Warhammer.
