ASL is great! A really great way of getting better at sign is to make asl videos and post them on youtube and ask for critiques from the ASL community. I used to be on this awesome website where you could just post videos back and forth with people, but I can't remember the name. Also, fingerspell random words as you see them on billboards and such. I'm a really fast fingerspeller b/c I did that for a while- now I just randomly start signing when I'm talking out of habit! Good luck :)
