Annoying. If you're going to go out of your way to create such a high tech interface, back it up with hardware that can handle transition animations. That choppy shit is the reason a company like Ford will never be like a company like Apple.

I drove the Jaguar XJ L supercharged and it seemed to have this exact same system with Jaguar logos on it. I love the look of it and how easy it is to use, but its User interface doesn't flow as fast as Apple's UI. That's part of the reason Apple should be making this stuff.

the only thing good about going bankrupt for gm was they cleared out alot of debt they were in the ford wasn't able to do, so ford actually has to pay the debt, but ford is doing good and they won't have a problem with it, but remember, ford took a 60 billion dollar loan so they didn't have to take a bailout.

@cavlovc1 meaning you can have a wifi signal in the car, not for the system to use. basically you're using the car as the power source instead of the battery on your laptop (or for if you have any mobile devices with wifi capability such as iPod Touch)

you can use the wifi when driving. The video playback on the screen is only available when in park.

i'm personally not interested in all this technology being in my cars and i'm 24 years old. i prefer a more pure driving experience without so many unnecessary bells and whistles. but i think people will like this system and i'm comfident that ford knows what its doing. hope it works out for them

this looks horrible.....no where near AUDI or VOLKSWAGEN the system gives me a headache just by looking at it for 1 second! it confuses me the whole dashboard is cluttered! HELL NO i hate american cars i rather drive a AUDI OR VOLKSWAGEN ANYDAY at least they keep it clean designed and easy on the eyes and brain!

controls on the steering wheel allow you to access the most frequently used features of the system while keeping your eyes straight ahead. really pretty obvious.

Any classic car goes up. American, german whatever the case may be. I have faith in this system and Ford. Mind you Ford is the only domestic american company posting profit and not taking millions and millions of dollars. Believe they are far from going "bust". But you have your opinion and I have mine. My opinion is that Ford is doing more revolutionary things with their business structure, products, and technology than any other company. Domestic or foreign.

that is very cool but Lincoln's primary buyers are at least 45 and older with some exceptions and that is a little two high tech for my mother to be driving and messing around with all the touch controls at the same time as she is driving it could be hazardous

@32479612391 I HAVE NEVER BEEN A FORD GUY(NEVER WILL) But I agree the tech is very cool, I also agree that primarily Lincoln drivers are a bit on the old side, of an operating all of that touch sensitive tech while driving would not be the safest experience for most of their drivers. But on the other hand, staying in the stone age with your primary buyers means as they die so will your sales, and it's not like they were going to put that expensive technology on only Ford vehicles.
